I have asked them for 4 years to stop filling my prescriptions for two months and instead fill them for a month because it costs me to much money but do they listen nope they don't. I was told by the pharmacy manager that sometimes the request falls through the cracks which is the biggest load of bull I have ever heard because they have never honored my request and honestly I have never felt so disrespected in my life but they definitely can make you feel that way. I have asked to speak to the pharmacy manager numerous times and they have refused. I have seen regular employees handling medications and under Iowa law that is highly illegal. I am honestly going to transfer my medications some where else. Anytime I pay on the app and go in to pick-up my medications it takes anywhere from 15-30 minutes to get them because nobody knows how to do it so they always have to call someone to do it.

Please If you value your health, do not get your prescriptions filled here. Except for Jennifer, the pharmacist, the staff is indifferent when it comes to patient care. As a healthcare professional, I recognize when proper procedures—such as prior authorizations, physician follow-up or benefit verifications—are not being followed.
I transferred all of my prescriptions elsewhere due to the poor service I've received and the way I noticed they treat customers while waiting in line. I even reached out to the store manager to discuss my concerns about patient safety, but no one followed up.
I'm leaving this review to warn others about the risk of not receiving the necessary services at this location.

No Longer Accessible or Hygienic.
They blocked off the entrance to the pharmacy. You have to track through the whole store to get there from either entrance. I don’t want to shop somewhere where sick people have to go through the food isles to get to their meds.
Also the drive through is either not open or you have to call and wait on hold so that is not an option.

Why have a downtown grocery store that’s only accessible to cars!? All of the doors but the parking garage doors are now emergency exits. Makes no sense to have a walkable downtown with businesses like this. If I wanted to drive to a grocery store I’d go to one with lower prices and a better selection and parking I don’t have to pay for!

I would not recommend this place. I went in to grab one of my prescriptions and the tech said that one of my other scripts auto-filled early. I told her I didn’t need it, nor wanted to pay $30 for a med I didn’t need, but she told me it would be a lot of work for her to send it back and rang it up anyway.

I wish my most recent experence was not uncommon for the Pharmacy. If the script was in hand at closing, it is reasonable to think the script would be ready the following day. Not in my world, and if I hadn’t call no one planned to inform me that delivery was not happening.

Wow what terrible service I was at the window for a full 10mins before I was acknowledged and then this moron Ingrid didn’t know how to do her job she literally made me wait another. 30ish mins to add water to my daughters drugs. Never use this place they are unprofessional and don’t care about anyone other than themselves.

This grocery store was within walking distance of our hotel (Hotel Fort Des Moines). It has everything you would need here including Starbucks. They have a great frozen food section as well as a wonderful bakery and meat/fish areas. We were able to get 24 waters for $2.99 which was fabulous. I was able to pick up some snacks for my kids as well as healthy items for myself. All the employees are friendly and helpful. You could basically find anything here you would need- sushi, wine, liquor area, hibachi and more. Also, you don't need to be a special member to enjoy the discounts some items might have!

SLOWEST SERVICE EVER....even with at least 5 staff membera working...only one window open...currently going on over a 30 minute wait...would not recommend.....showed up to pick up script that was submitted a couple days ago wasn't even prefilled to be picked up so guess what another 20 mins wait

One of the best pharmacies I've gone to in years. 5/5 stars for always picking up my phone calls and always being polite, patient, and willing to assist me. There's usually a line of 1-3 people when I go, but they are pretty quick. My only suggestion for them is to create a speakerphone option for the drive-through (so people don't need to put the phone close to their ear) or a direct window to communicate with staff instead of the phone situation.
