I went in to get ice coffee. I made my coffee and wanted wiped cream and bot machine's were out. I ask if they had anymore and she said yes a left. Replaced then came back and seen me setting there and on your still here. I said yes she said ok it will take a few minutes. So she started to put in a new one then walk off for another 4 minutes by this time I've already waited over 10 minutes. So I paid for a coffee I could not have my way. Smh

Gabby is so unprofessional. I would have to say she demonstrates the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I am writing this review based on many encounters with her. I purposely do not choose her register because every time I come in, she acts like she is mad about something and had an attitude. I dont need the extra drama in my day. The thing that bothers me the most is that it feels directed towards me. Today, After ringing me up, I noticed she wouldnt even look at me again. I told her to have a good day because I was trying to be polite. When I noticed she was purposely ignoring ne and not responding, I decided to ask her if I had done something to upset her. This is how she is towards me every time I come in. She told me I was rude. She said I slammed my money on the counter. I just took my money out if my wallet and put it on the counter. I dont even want to come back she is so judgemental and rude. Definitely not there to privilege a service. All the other people who work there do not have an issue with the way I put my money on the counter. They are friendly and very helpful. I will think twice before coming into this store.i just do not need the chance encounter if this disgruntled employee. I dont need the drama.

I love Kwik Star so much but this one is the dumpiest, most run down one in the area. They are never stocked, never in good repair, and never clean. Just this morning, EVERY outdoor trash can over flowing and trash littering the parking lot. Inside, hardly any beverages stocked in the coolers and like literally 3 items in the hot food shelving. Since I couldn’t get an energy drink because they were not stocked, tried to get a fountain soda and lo and behold, flat per usual and out of stock of 3 different soda types. One of their smoothie machines, out of order and the other looks like someone vomited into the top. Decided to just grab the gallon of milk I needed and then stopped at Git n Go for the rest on the way back home. Least they have working, delicious soda fountains and stock their coolers.

I get off work at 11pm and if I stop here, it is a very dirty store at that time. Spilled pop everywhere, they're out of lids and straws, etc. Definitely the worst quikstar in the des moines area. It's not much cleaner other times of the day either. One of the soda machines spits out room temp soda, and has for months now.

Kwik Star has been one of my favorite chain of convenience stores for years! They have the best fried chicken (best when you time it right out of the fryer)! It's tender, crunchy, and moist! My favorites are their coffee, mac/cheese, potatoes and gravy, and the banana bars are to die for! Every holiday, you can purchase a car wash for $7.99. Definitely worth stopping!

Depends on day Car wash is always an issue when it's open. Pumps run out of reciets you have to go in and get it. Window solvent and squeegee sometimes not there or are empty paper towels same issue. Moving forward there just to busy and need to hire more

Kwik Star has great prices on gas. Have good fresh fried chicken. fresh meat selection,grocery product selections. They have monthly specials which are good values. Food specials, dairy, meat or produce. They have a nice selection of hot GRAB AND GO foods. Love the smoked string cheese.
