Do not use KW!!!THEY really did a "job" on me. Boss man took my truck here to get the pushers fixed, they were not activating, no lights nothing. The following week, I picked up the truck and first thing, there as still a WARNING SIGN ON THE BLINKER ARM, "DO NOT MOVE TRUCK", there was "monkey grease" everywhere, on the seat (x2), ALL OVER the floor, spread all over the catwalk, in the steering wheel, everywhere! The fuse box door was left off and sitting in the floor. BUT, this is NOT the worse of what they did to me, NOOOO....!!!! They turned OFF all the air to the pushers.When I turned on the pushers after getting loaded in Ames, they both went down, LIGHTS WENT ON, I thought good, they all work again, (besides, shouldn't they? I just picked it up from the shop) but later in the day, after a few more loads, I was stopped by DOT, YES!!! He said one pusher was not down and touching the ground, I told him that I had both of them ON. SO.... he instructed me to the DOT yard for a scale. He weighed me and said even the one that was down wasn't scaling. I told him that I had just picked up the truck from KW for the PUSHERS and showed him the ticket, Nope, no difference to him I was written up for $900 ticket. Boss man took it back to KW they said nothing was wrong with it!!! That was when I discovered that the air was turn all the way off by the technician when he was working on it, I had no idea this could be done, I have never dealt with adjusting air in the pushers, let alone a way to adjust them. Boss man asked to talk to them about taking responsibility, they wanted nothing to do with that, NOPE I am stuck with this overweight ticket over my head, what a crock! So, run, don't walk away from KW, do not have these goonies work on your equipment.If the technician didn't turn the air down or off, it is possible that the person they sent out to clean all the grease off the truck turned them down, either way KW turned them down!!!

Absolutely horrible customer service. Called to get specs on a Kenworth truck VIN in hand, they told me they can't look it up. Seems odd to me that they cant give me at least the specs at birth of this truck. Didn't even try to look it up.UPDATE: Called Kenworth in Kansas City... all he asked for were the last 6 of the VIN and he had the information that I was needing.

Title: Extremely Disappointed with MHC Kenworth in Des Moines, IALast night, I experienced a breakdown on I-80 near Des Moines, IA, which left me stranded on the side of the road. Concerned for my safety, I promptly contacted MHC Kenworth in Des Moines, hoping for assistance as I had purchased my truck from them.Initially, I was assured that road service would be dispatched to my location by 7 am the following morning. However, despite patiently waiting throughout the night, no help arrived. I repeatedly called MHC Kenworth starting at 7 am, but to my dismay, my calls were either ignored or met with false promises of callbacks that never materialized.At approximately 7:45 am, I finally managed to speak with a service adviser named John, who callously informed me that they do not provide road service unless the truck is parked in their lot or at a truck stop. Shocked and frustrated by this revelation, I couldn't believe that MHC's policy essentially left me stranded and helpless in a potentially dangerous situation.This lack of assistance and empathy from MHC Kenworth is not only unacceptable but also a clear indication of their disregard for customer safety and satisfaction. It's appalling to think that purchasing a truck from them does not guarantee any form of roadside assistance when needed most.Needless to say, I will never consider purchasing any equipment from MHC again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before doing business with a company that values profit over the well-being of its customers. This experience has left me feeling deeply disappointed and disillusioned with MHC Kenworth in Des Moines, IA.

I am a service advisor at Branch 51 MHC in Mcdonough, GA. I do a lot of networking with the MHC fleet reps to keep our customers tended to with the best service possible. Jason Meighan needs recognition for his hard work and dedication to the fleets that he oversees. Jason is always available with 1 phone call or email. He works with us diligently to keep the trucks rolling and puts extra effort to assure we get the parts needed for the repairs. I love working with Jason. He always has a positive attitude and jovial spirit. Thank you Jason, for all your hard work! Its a pleasure to network with you!

From the moment we got there, they were on our truck. We got towed in with leaking coolant. We had a gasket issue (after all the tests were done). In on Saturday morning, out by Wednesday morning. Fast and polite. Not to mention, we had to have the dpf filter replaced as well. I have renewed hope in being an owner operator. Quickest service we've had in a while considering the issue. Thanks to all that made this happen. You guys are AWESOME.

Nice friendly guys! Called with a water pump leaking like crazy. Only about an hr wait to get truck in. Had me on the road about 3 hrs later! Super awesome! Definitely will go back!!

Please DO NOT go here!!! Me and My Husband went to this shop on Saturday 12-9-23 and waited for 4 hours just for the guy to tell us he only had one man working and that we would have to come back Monday so we had to pay for a hotel and Uber for 2 days we called Monday morning asking have they looked at our truck bc the guy told us our truck would be looked at 1st thing morning when I called Monday morning he said he was about to pull it and so me and husband had tp check out the hotel and Uber back over there when we arrived the guy said he was about tp pull it in that was 8am….. at noon I went back to the counter to ask if he got the truck on and he still haven’t but 2 other white guys that came that same day trucks were in the shop and already looked at… I was so puzzle how there trucks got looked at before ours and we were there before them…… we had to leave and drive 4 hours to another shop to get our truck again please don’t got here very racism and unprofessional I will be contacting my attorney also about this
