Extremely poor customer service experience. I live in Newton Iowa but my dog stays in Des Moines with my man who doesn't have a vehicle currently. So I ordered off Petcos website as they offered delivery via door dash. Ordered 2 days ago in the am and was to be delivered around 630pm never showed up still waiting. Contacted both DD and Petco DD lied and said order would not be coming they were refunding and canceling. Turns out Petco had no knowledge until I contacted them so they decided to replace with same item today but won't be delivered til 7pm or so tonight. Free is their best offer well the first was never refunded and I still don't have so what did they offer ??? This store is less than 4 miles away from my dog if I managed the store I would personally drive it there. Did I mention it's meds for an open wound. But petco left me with hope it gets there tonight. So I drive from Newton to Des Moines and buy items from TSC in Ankeny and delivered it myself and drove back to Newton. So I am just out gas, out money for item I have not received yet. I will NEVER spend one penny with Petco and my review for door dash which has in the past been excellent is next...

Not too happy with the fact I've come here several times and the dog food has been blocked by roller carts. Customer service is subpar and your hardly ever greated or asked if you need help finding anything. This was 1 of my only local options but I'll take my chances with the farm store instead.

I will never take any of my dogs to this location again. I had booked an appointment for my dog and I was called two different times to reschedule the appointment so I but when I arrived at the time they gave me the refuse to take of one my dogs because, they said he vaccinations was not a file which was a lie and when I told them there were because the one on Mills Civic Parkway has them, they still wouldn’t take him and got rude about. I called to try to get another appointment for my male dog I was told they were uncomfortable taking my dog. So I told them not to touch my female dog and I would be back to get her. The lady was rude to my mom when she went in to get my female dog. The management there sucks, because she was just as rude and her employees. The one lady name McKenzie, and she failed to tell me to bring my male dogs paper, because he vaccinations was on file but told me to bring my female dog paper. Wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone!!!

We went to Army Post south side location. I booked and my husband dropped off my dog. Amy was the groomer, my husband requested the haircut for the papillon and he mentioned we want the length of the hair is the same as on it head which was about 3cm and my dog came home as it is a little trim here and there but nothing changed. When my husband dropped off my dog Amy asked him, do you want to grind the nail and he replied sure because he didn’t know there was fees! Amy did not explain the cost involved. I booked for basic bath and hair cut with $53 and ended up charging $103.80. I called her she said book again if you want to fixed! It will take a month to get in and they will charge me again. I said I want to take to the supervisor and first she said there is no supervisor in this location. I told her I need to talk to the manager. She put me on hold for 15 minutes. The manager is Britney and she was covered up the whole situation and they both were very rude and lie. The manager said they would not do anything about it because it was over a week which was only 3 days ago. I wasn’t home at the time to check my dog. Britney said You already paid which means you agree on everything that we did. The manager herself was not professional in handling the situation and robbed my money.

Hit and miss for deals unfortunately mostly miss and hard to find anyone to help you and out of stuff like crickets had to go down the street to PetSmart.
