If I could put 0 stars I would. Most of their fish had visible ICH. I should’ve been smarter and just not purchased any but I had assumed they had separate filtration systems for each tank but I was wrong. My whole tank got ICH. Will go back for photos and update.

Went to purchase a couple of cans of Royal Canin Veterinary dog food. When I went to check out, I showed them my prescription from my vet and they told me that wasn't from the INSTORE vet, so it didn't count. So, basically the ONLY people that can buy from the HUGE rack of veterinary prescription products that is right out in the open, is the customers of that vet. I find this to be a bunch of BS since nowhere on the rack does it state it is for the instore vet customers only. Since that is the case, I would think they would put all that back in the vets area, not displayed right as you walk in.
We are talking DOG FOOD here, and to not allow another vets prescription is just plain BS.

My dogs food, Nulo, was on sale but I was told it wasnt. Therefore, I ended up paying almost $80 instead of around $60ish or so dollars. Anything for my baby boy. I wasnt pleased the discount wasnt applied nor honored and the sale was active and current.

Will never go back to this store again. My husband took my dog in to get his nails trimmed and get him some treats as he’s done so many times before. However today the female that was doing the nail trims informed us they have a new policy that requires some new kind of collar which in itself is fine but what’s not fine is that she either clearly didn’t know how to use it or just blatantly doesn’t care. My dog is not a small dog he’s about 110 lbs he’s not a little whimpy dog u have to be extra careful with but this lady started dragging him and actually hurt him to the point he yelped. That’s completely unacceptable luckily my husband was right there and grabbed the leash out of her hand and they left and won’t be going back. So if u do decide to take your dog there to get groomed or trims make sure you stay extra close and keep a good close eye on your dog. That lady is very lucky it was my husband there and not me bcuz she most certainly wouldn’t have a job anymore.

Leah is absolutely the worst employee I have ever encountered. The way she made fun of my upset child and mocked her for crying is horrendous. Then had to nerve to tell her it's nap time like it's her child. My child was laughing and having a great time through the store until she realized we were leaving. While yes a crying child can be chaotic my child was not throwing an actual fit just crying.

I have been taking my dog for more than a year but yesterday, November 5th, in the morning I took him and they handed him over to me. My dog was in bad condition, he was nervous, anxious and wouldn't stop crying. It took me more than an hour to calm my dog down. I don't know. What happened yesterday with new employees and I won't take my dog with them anymore...

I don’t know weather to start with the numerous times I’ve had to alert an employee to a dying animal or fish, or that tonight I waited over 30 mins to get two crickets .. I finally got them myself and the girl at the front acted annoyed .. I had asked her once already if there was anyone else to help but she said no (as she sat there with no one checking out) The bearded dude in the area with the fish didn’t even have the decency to tell myself or the other gentleman there waiting “I’ll be with you soon” or “ let me finish with this other customer” No, he just kept yapping to someone who didn’t even act interested in purchasing anything. GREAT customer service skills buddy. AND this isn’t even the first time I’ve had to get my own crickets… I was reminded why I started going to Pets Plus for all my pets needs .. This Petco is a JOKE. I honestly don’t know how they even stay in business.

I had the worst experience here today. The staff was SO rude. I was told I couldn’t get a certain dog food without a prescription (that’s fine that’s not their fault) so I asked if she knew any other brands or foods that were similar (my dog needed a special GI food) and she responded “i don’t know i’m not a vet” well yes, but you do work here so I assumed I could ask you questions. She sent me to the vet to ask, who was equally rude and told me to look for myself :) I cannot imagine bringing my dogs to this place for ANYTHING. I will never be back. There were maybe 2 other customers in the store and the worker was SO bothered that I even approached her. Yikes yikes yikes for customer service. I always, always have good experiences at petcos and persmarts. I guess I just came across 2 people that really hate their jobs. So in other words go to a different location and DO NOT take your dog to the vet here.

I recently got a betta fish from this Petco in particular. Only had him for a few days when he passed due to bad genetics. I grew attached and was mourning the loss but decided to take him back to the store. As we were doing the return an employee made an insensitive joke asking me if I killed my fish.
I got upset and almost started crying. When I told her no, I did not, she then looked at my sister and partner and asked them if they killed my fish. I understand trying to lighten the mood but it was incredibly rude and hurt. I do not recommend coming here.
