Watch the staff carefully. They will over charge you and argue with you when you point it out. Even when the receipt and merchandise proving they made a mistake (we all do) and the only way that they can correct the error is to charge my card again?? Maybe refunding the overage?! The employees should be wearing identifiable articles so the customers know you actually work there prior to running your mouth and trying to assist the clerk working, and telling other customers to be quiet. You made the situation far worse. I hope you feel so good about screwing customers today!

If youre going to hire people who cant properly ring up items and overcharge others you need to do better.

They must be under new management or something I used to love coming into the store finding great deals definitely helped out my wallet and my home but now everything‘s been marked up way more than it needs to be things that you can buy at other stores for way less, I thought this is supposed to be a thrift store to help people, but it looks like it’s turning into another big box

The prices here are just about what you expect. It's a great selection and one of my favorite in the area.

The prices ate higher than they need to be.As much as the money is to help people, people with lower incomes shop here, too.I was accosted by a gentleman who appeared to be the manager. I purchased a new shirt and used shorts for a meeting I had to attend immediately and had spilled a drink on the clothes I was wearing. After the purchase, I told the clerk I was going to change in the restroom. Sge said fine, but to make sure I held onto the receipt. As I was changing, this man came barging into the stall I was in and demanded I change in the fitting rooms. I told him to leave until I was finished dressing. Awful experience! Then, as I was leaving, this same gentleman placed a sign at the entrance informing the public that they were not accepting any more donations. This made my blood boil... If they have so much goodwill donations that they're filled to the rafters and can't fit another item in the store, then why not lower the prices on the inventory already in the store or have a grand sale and still take the donations that kind-hearted people were bringing in?Poorly run establishment. I won't be returning.

I've had pretty good hauls from here. Selection is pretty large, and the store is well organized; not too cluttered but doesn't feel empty either. Also fantastic drop off system. One of the easiest places to donate in the Des Moines metro.

It’s a well picked over yet acceptable Salvation Army. However, if you’re reading this, you’re probably looking for something more from me. Here’s my first breakthrough: Michael Nesmith is a confirm traveler. I know he’s easy to tag. But I had to prove it, which is more than any of you’ve done so far.
