I've been here twice in the last week and ended up walking out both times without a word spoken to me after waiting well past the estimated time. No updated estimate, explanation, apology for the wait, nothing at all. Will not return.

Honestly one of my more disappointed haircuts from a sport clips I’ve had. Kat cut my hair and the convo was friendly but the style is much more like a little boys haircut then they style I requested. She cut much more off the top than a lite trim I had asked for. Didn’t ask if I wanted square or rounded on the neck. The double length massage and towel treatments was shorter than most of the single treatments I have gotten. No offer to show me the back of my hair or style my hair. Once I got home I noticed many many missed hairs. The convo was nice and I left a good tip which I regret.

Unfortunately this place has gone downhill, all the staff that has been there for the last several years is gone now, 2 visits ago had the worst haircut I've ever experienced, tried to visit again today, estimated wait of 25 minutes on the app for a specific stylist (specifically not the one who butchered my hair), arrived 15-20 minutes later to a estimated 30 minute wait time and had to leave after 35 minutes due to prior engagements.

This was by far the best sports clips location in the Des Moines, and surrounding areas! Ive been to others in West Des Moines, and this was the first visit to the fleur location in Wakonda shopping center. Right away I knew there was a difference when my stylist started with my hair. She took her time with me and didnt rush anything. This stylists name was Becky. She was very picky, making sure that all of my hair was even after the cut was finished. Also, she made sure that I was satisfied with the cut during and after the process. This was probably the best haircut in my recent memory, and it didnt hurt that she had a wonderful personality! I am definitely returning to this fleur location in the future, and will ask for Becky again. Great job Sports clips, and Becky!! Thank you!

Alyx is a great stylist! They have been cutting my hair for years. It's exactly the way I want it every time. I've gone to a few others over the years, and there's always something that's not quite right. So, I always end up making time and going out of my way to get a cut from Alyx!
