I sent my transmission there to get rebuilt and the transfer case. When I got the truck back three of the transfer case bolts were stripped and the hole was filled with jb weld. They are cheap for a reason…..

I took my car in to Sta rite due to a transmission issue, they diagnosed it as a bad valve body. Replaced the transmission with a low mile used transmission. They got me back moving. Thanks for all you guys did for me!!! Much Appreciated!!

Absolutely one of the best experiences I've had with a business in the automotive service industry. All of the qualities mentioned in other reviews are spot on. Knowledgeable, great communication, upbeat, looks for the lowest cost remedies first, efficient. Pricing is very reasonable. Can't say enough good about Austin and his staff. Transmission went out on our shop truck, after looking around and a few recommendations to take it to Sta-Rite, I called. They got it right in, extremely fair on price, and it shifts like butter. Kevin and Stacey were great to deal with. Don't hesitate! Great shop!

They are going to steal your stuff inside of the car if you take your car in that terrible place!!!! My friend car they stole some stuff the he had on his car.

Had transmission rebuilt in my old Chevy a couple of weeks ago. I found this place based on recommendations from the Google reviews. While the work appears solid, beware of where you are leaving your vehicle. Mine was returned with several dents from there very small, and very cramped, parking lot. If you have a nice vehicle, or just one you really care about, take it somewhere else. This is a known problem and they even admitted to it after the fact. $3200 worth of damage and no recourse. They will tell you that it is a neighborhood problem. As an east sider, I found that interesting. Seeing as how they are an east side business.

This shop is terrible. I took my Dodge to have a transmission rebuild and it was stolen from their shop. I found it a week later and they did not take responsibility for the damage to my truck. You can take your car and if it is stolen, you yourself have to pay for the damage.

Needed a driveshaft…. Got a transmission. Oh ya , and a driveshaft, Which is all I needed in the 1st place ……….. In Short, this place sucks !! Won’t make that mistake twice , did I say this place sucks !!!
