I was very excited to order my first Sticks piece from their website. When I received it I was very disappointed. I ordered a media cabinet and on the top of it is a large flower and the artist did not do a good job blending the colors and it did not look professional in my opinion. When I reached out about my disappointment they did not seem to care I was dissatisfied and wanted me to pay for shipping the media cabinet back so they could fix it and also pay for return shipping. I was extremely disappointed their customer service was so lacking especially when I had paid several thousand dollars. I would be aware that what you see pictured may not be exactly what you get and there could be errors in the painting. If you are ok with that you will be fine. I know it is hand painted and things will differ slightly I guess I did not expect to have what I feel was an error in such a prominent place.

Sticks makes the most unique AND beautiful handcrafted artwork I have seen. They have artwork for different states that I love and a lot having to do with pets! You can even get a custom piece done for yourself or as a gift! This is a must see when in the Des Moines area.

Be very leary of this gallery as employees tend to come and go due to the toxic environment. Prices are marked up 300% and not worth the expense. Many items can be found a the Farmer's Market for a third of the price at the Gallery.

This is one of my favorite places... they have unique one-of-a-kind gifts and home goods. If you are looking for something that not everyone has you will be pleased with the selection at STICKS. I even picked up an amazing poncho there too. I had no idea they had a few clothing items. Plus it is located in the super hip east village. So if you are looking for a unique item for the home this place needs to be added to your list.
