We are a family owned lasering and Engraving Business out of Newton, Iowa. We started doing leatherette patch hats and have had issues with our leatherette material from our supplier out of Texas, So we decided to take matters into our own hands by stepping it up a notch with pure leather. With that being said we found out about Tandy leather out of Des Moines, Iowa, I made a visit to the store and never felt so comfortable with the respect,knowledge from P.J. she really knows her job and helped my business drastically. The price is right. The quality is top notch, look no further because Tandy leather is where it's at I will be back thanks again P.J.

There's a great selection of leathers for any project! Lauren and Steve can match you up with what you need to make you imagination real. Classes with Lauren are fun, she works with you on design and construction. I'm making English tack, collars, and leashes. Handicapped accessible (I'm in a wheelchair).

This was my first time shopping at the Tandy Leather in Des Moines. Honestly, it was a really good experience. The prices are way cheaper than Amazon. I like that you can see what you're buying. I'm new to leather crafting so I had lots of questions. The store associate was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I will definitely be coming back or ordering from Tandy online.
