The Good Butcher is a great butcher shop in Des Moines with an amazing and great selection of good quality meats. This includes steaks, chops, bacon, burgers, andouille sausage, and even pork’s blood. The quality is incredible, exceptional, and super trustworthy. The staff is very welcoming, super helpful, and shares information about cuts and sourcing. The store is clean. The steaks are tender and delicious. It is a great experience for anyone hosting and is highly recommended.

    All that’s going on right now with our foods I decided to try a local butcher and I will have to say top-notch. I’ll never buy from a grocery store again for my meat. Excellent quality meat and very nice service. I will be returning customer.

    Excellent experience my first trip. The butcher was very personal and helpful. Ended up buying 4-5 different items and all of them were top notch. Looking forward to coming back for a little more thorough visit!
