This was the first time I'd used a U-Haul in a long long time we got good customer service from Julian. He was really on top of his game the only thing that kind of puzzled me I guess was you have to pay so much for mileage but you still have to pay for gas too I guess that's a part of doing business and making money.

We had a trailer hitch wiring installed at the Waukee Uhaul and had two bad experiences as the manager did not show up to the first scheduled installation appointment and then they took hours to complete the installation at the second scheduled appointment. After finding out that no place would do routine maintenance on our car after seeing how bad the wiring was installed, we called Eli and he took care of the issue with out hesitation on the same day. I would recommend Eli to anyone who needs work on trailers and hitches.

Those guys were absolutely great all of them. Super helpful even though they were busy will definitely get a U-Haul from these guys again

They were busy with a customer when I walked in. Then 3 more walked in behind me. The poor guy got a little flustered so I let him take care of them first. Rented a trailer, price wasnt bad. Computer problems seem to plague this place which is a shame.A little waiting and redoing my information on a little screen.All in not bad if you dont mind waiting

Ordered a hitch in late July. After multiple contacts I called today and store manager told me it was in and scheduled installation. Later received an email confirmation and learned he had switched out which hitch would be installed without telling me (I ordered one that was mostly "hidden"). Waiting over a month to have someone try to pull a switch on me is not how I want to do business. I'd avoid this store at all cost.By the way, I called Schuling Hitch Co. They have the hitch I want IN STOCK and will install for me on Friday. I should've gone there from the beginning!

We were able to make a reservation online thinking it would make it easier but not so much. I had forgotten that I made the reservation online and when I got to the line the employee told me since I made it online I have to do the pick up online. So we tried that outside but there was a problem with the website and I couldn't get it. So I had to back in and wait in line. The other employee helped us right away and had no issue with supposedly having to do it online which I don't believe was true and he was kind of rude about it the first employee we encountered but the truck was fine and everything else went smoothly.

I attempted to reserve a truck for 48 hrs in June. When I called, the employee was helpful but told me that he was going to transfer me to the “scheduling” dept because he could only manually reserve 24 hrs, they would be able to add a second day. When I was transferred, the scheduling dept told me that they could absolutely not add an additional day to the reservation because they did not have the “availability”. I know they had the resources to do so because I personally checked the availability of this truck myself. She was unwilling to work with me and was not on the same page as the staff member I previously spoke to. I would not recommend uhaul. Budget fit me in no problem!

I made an appointment to have a hitch installed on my vehicle at their location in Waukee. I was informed the parts needed were ordered at the time I made the appointment. A week later, I dropped off my vehicle in the morning to have the work done. Hours later I was called and informed they never received some of the parts needed and that I could come pick up my vehicle. They said they'd put an overnight order in on my parts and call me when they came in. This was on a Monday. By Saturday I still hadn't heard from them, so I called to see what the status was on the parts. The call center worker informed me that she had left a message with the manager at the site to call me as soon as possible. Nobody ever tried to contact me, so the following Tuesday I called to cancel any services they may or may not have me scheduled for (at this point who knows) and ask for a refund of the deposit they made me put down for the parts that never arrived.

Well the first time I called and picked up the truck I did not feel like the customer service was good or professional. But when I dropped off the truck the lady that helped me was very nice and very professional. However when I needed a truck a few weeks later to complete our move the man that answered was very unprofessional. I ended up going further away to rent my truck.

First let me say I am a high user of Uhaul Trailers. This facility offered the worst customer service I have ever experienced. An Iowan will be losing out on a sale of furniture because of their lack of regard for anyone. Too bad. I will do my best to make sure people at their corporate headquarters know.

Charged three times for one truck. One was a hold (which you can avoid by adjusting the final price and processing), and twice for the truck. When called to report I was told I wasn’t charged more than once and the other was a hold that would fall off. Would not admit to charging me twice for the same truck. Transferred the call, ended up talking to three different people all who denied charging the second time and had no resolution. Worst customer service ever. Save yourself time and money and go somewhere else!! These people are liars and thieves!!!

15 Minutes on hold, she picked up and said "hang on a second". Ten more minutes on hold and a very nice older lady in Phoenix picked up and had no idea what a trailer hitch was or what state I was in. After explaining it to her, she put me on hold to transfer me to another dept in Phoenix. I don't really write bad reviews, but this wasn't a great experience. I just needed to know if they had a hitch in stock.
