This U-Haul office is absolutely stellar, in every way. I've used them 4 times now, this last time for a relocation to New England. The staff is smart, helpful, flexible, great supplies. If I could give 10 stars I would.

DO NOT GET A HITCH INSTALLED HERE!
I got a hitch installed a few years ago and it’s coming to light now as I’m getting it repaired that they never fully installed the trailer brake wiring. It was just dangling in there never actually in place and I ended up pulling a 6000 pound camper across country with no brakes I paid for.
Then I find out that it’s missing not one but two main bolts on the actual hitch mount to the car!

Open the store on time and don't have employees leave keys at home. The gentleman that came in to unlock the door was amazing the other two ladies are useless. They sat on the back I stead of helping hi. With the li e of customers that they had created by being unprepared and everything. Piss poor experience. The only good thing about it was the gentleman that came in and he was truly helpful.

At this location their parking is awful and their employees are not very friendly at all. The truck I rented was great but I don’t think I would recommend this location to anyone!

I was extremely emotional and stressed (as I had just left my mom with dementia) and was picking up a trailer that my boyfriend rented for me to pick up his motorcycle. A new experience for me and doing it alone, out of state. There are angels on earth. Tammy, at the front desk, took the time to see that I was upset and asked what she could do to help ME. She was the bright spot in my day, from a total stranger (that I felt so at ease and comfortable with) that the hugs that we shared were the exact thing that I needed to give me the confidence to get on the road. Thank you UHaul for having awesome workers. An extra special thank you to Tammy for answering the call and coming into work on that Sunday, instead of your going to church plans. You can let your church family know that I needed your help, comfort and guidance that day and that you were an overachiever on performance! Thank you Tammy! Great place to rent a car trailer!! They have everything you need! Very very pleased that they hooked up everything at the Urbandale IA location and unhooked everything at the Omaha 84th L St location. I did not even have to get out to do anything. Exceptional Customer Service at both locations!! We did set up reservations at the Omaha location and the guy who helped us (sorry did not get his name, dark haired guy) was polite and professional. Thanks for making this a simple and easy visit!! I truly appreciate it!!
