Small but neat postal office, workers are pretty chill & polite, my packages arrived quickly and safely to my buyers and would actually answer my calls when I had questions, overall no bad experiences from this location from my personal perspective

Unreasonably rude. I was really polite despite the situation and that woman’s attitude. (Also still don’t know how to get my package)
*update: I just had to wait a couple days for them to get it off of the truck. She was still rude when I came back, but I left with a package. I consider that a victory when dealing with the USPS.

USPS Needs to train there Mail delivery employees to read addresses, our packages have been delivered to wrong houses more then once. Our address is on the mail box, Can’t be missed.

We have complained to the office about our mailman cutting thru our yards several times. He continues to do it, killing off flowers, breaking solar light, and yard decore. Walking out in front of us to where my son almost hit him. A supervisor was supposed to call me concerning this. They never have. Supposedly, all the supervisors were in a meeting when I went down to talk to one. Yet my neighbors get the same excuse when they go in. Also, when we try to talk to the carrier himself, he is very rude and ignores us.

I acknowledge and respect that USPS is a government agency dedicated to serving its citizens, and I want to clarify that my intention is not to show any disrespect towards the hardworking men and women who diligently deliver our mail and work in the warehouses to ensure efficient mail distribution. The purpose of this message is to address the leaders who oversee USPS boxes and drop-off locations.It sometimes feels as though USPS discourages certain individuals from using their services due to the lack of convenient after-hours drop-off boxes that can accommodate larger packages. As a business owner, my schedule often prevents me from shipping items during regular business hours. There are instances when orders come in after hours, and my business requires prompt shipment. However, the only drop-off box in the city that can accommodate my packages is located at the 2nd and University USPS facility. Unfortunately, during holiday hours, this box is frequently full, causing delays in my shipments and negatively impacting my business.I kindly request that USPS consider providing additional locations where I can conveniently drop off my packages during closed hours. While there are other shipping services available, I prefer to use USPS for my business. However, the current limitations in drop-off options make it challenging to continue doing so. As a shipping company, it would be greatly appreciated if USPS could ensure accessible and efficient drop-off options for businesses like mine.

Man these other ppl are lying I’ve had 25 great experiences at this location I ship shoes twice a week they lend me tape and have the up most hospitality at this location best post office in desmoines.

This post office is absolutely terrible. Bad customer service and they constantly deliver my mail and packages to houses other than my own. I wish this review would actually do something. I don't say this often but the person in charge of this location should be fired for incompetence.

We get our neighbors mail and they get mine....or someone does. Sometimes my mail and packages do not show up at all....do they care....NO! She is rude.....refuses to listen. She is Very defensive and her nice demeanor turns nasty fast. The last time I spoke with her was about a package I did not receive...however, it showed it was delivered to me....after arguing with me...she hung up on me. I still have NO idea where my package is. I DO NOT deserve this....I HATE TO DEAL WITH THAT PO. I go to Johnston when possible....Shannon is the most professional and knowledgeable post office person in our area. Added next day....shows no access to delivery location....so no package again. Nothing has changed location same as every day....easy to get to. No one answers phone....what to do?? HELP!

This location that services my area is terrible about mis-delivery. There is a E 16th ST and E 16th CT, Many times my mail gets delivered to wrong address. I've missed important mail due to this error. If I receive mail for another address, I put back in the mailbox for carrier to pick up.They're just not paying close attention to see if it's ST or CT. I called local office and no one answers the phone.
