Tabitha is perhaps the kindest postal employee we’ve ever encountered. There was an issue with our mailbox key and packages were getting lost. She went out of her way to track down all of our stuff and sorted our issues with a smile. Thank you Tabitha!!

I love my local Post Office! Compared to others I have visited in the city, the Southside location is full of great energy and positive workers. Today I had Shara and Sara and they both greeted me with a smile and a warm welcome. Keep it up!

Thieves, this people stole a customer package worth $350 after I tried making sure it was scanned and for it to be shipped but that stupid lady made it look like she scanned it but it wasn’t shipped for two weeks and is now lost, never using them

Time sensitive package dropped on Monday. Still says it hasn't been collected by USPS at the center. I am forced to refund the customer for USPS's mistake.

Clerks are great; carriers are changed frequently, and make frequent mistakes that are, literally, impossible to fix. Meanwhile, the manager at the station is a joke. He is immediately dismissive, rude, and confrontational. If a carrier messed something up, you will NEVER receive resolution. Really unfortunate.

Edit**Haven't gotten my mail in over a week.
Edit #2: mail keeps getting marked 'delivered' even when it's not here. Sometimes a day or two before it even shows up. What is going on here?
This post office is absolutely TERRIBLE. The carrier frequently marks 'attempted to deliver' on my mail...when they don't even try. I was home today for a package that was supposed to come, mail says 'attempted delivered'....but I was literally right in the living room and my dogs always alert at someone up the walk. Heard truck, dogs never alerted, went out and my expected package wasn't there. Five minutes later showed 'attempted' delivery but no one ever came to the door. I suspect the carrier attempted to deliver to a house a block over with almost the exact same address, only theirs is oneaone direction and mine is another. BUT this happens *constantly*. I run a small etsy store and frequently order supplies, and half the time they get here late because of the mistake, because said person never just brings me my misdelivered mail, they just ship it back to the sender so I endup not receiving it NEARLY on time. My customers get very honked over this. I've driven up to the office several times to complain about it, rep always calls the carrier who basically shrugs it off and says 'maybe they'll bring it by your house'. I am **FED UP**. I don't know what is so flippin hard about making sure the right package gets to the right house, and I could make a case for an accident once or twice, but it's happened enough times that it's cost me work. I don't know what to do at this point; the female carrier we have is awesome, but she's rarely the one that delivers. I just don't know what to do about it but it's just ridiculous.

The South Side USPS On McKinley Ave in DSM sucks!!! We don't get regular mail that is posted on informed mail. but often get mail that isn't ours! When I'm expecting priority mail that I've paid extra for, it always takes 5 days or more to get it. DO BETTER!!!!

An incredible array of incredibly inept people. How they managed to assemble a complete bunch of incompetents in one place is a marvel. After 26 years at same address I moved w/in city. This post office cannot seem to deliver my mail. 3 years I have been at new address and STILL having mail returned.

The women who work there are helpful but the old guy with glasses sucks. If you have more than one thing to do, he freaks out and isn’t helpful at all. Super frustrating
