Great serviwhen needed to fill prescription on trip out of town. Pharmacist was most helpful in seeing that prescription was filled as needed.

Pharmacy...on hold...22 minutes. Hung up..called back....18 minutes on hold. Hung up...25 minutes waiting...ridiculous. Poor excuse for Pharmacy customer service. Absolutely no reason to keep customers on hold for a few minutes at the most.

Called the pharmacy to see if prescription was ready. The hall said she didn't get it ready because it was $1401. I asked if she ran through my insurance, Response was snarky, "yes I did". I asked how she could do that because it's been several years since I've picked up a prescription at Walgreens and said I have a different insurance coverage. She said, that's just the cost. I was pulling into the drive way. Went in provided my current insurance information and the young man was in training, he asked another trainee for help. They couldn't figure it out. They asked the lady I spoke with on the phone. She's talking very loudly, "I told her she had a deductible and it works cost $1401.it's the same insurance, it's not going to change". I explained that I have been getting other prescriptions from my home state from another pharmacy and never had been told I have a deductible that had to be met. She responded, "I don't know what to tell you other than call your doctor or insurance." She didn't run the new card/information provided. I left before I saw something not so nice. I decided to buy some snacks. I go to pay. There was a lady buying cigarettes, there was a gallon of milk and a pound of butter on the counter. The clerk just charged her for the cigarettes, she said "I have the milk and butter too". He responded, "I didn't see them". She's says,"I could've just walked out with them". He said "I didn't see anything" and handed her change for the cigarettes. She placed the butter in her hand bag, picked up the milk and walked out. I couldn't believe what I witnessed. The employee gave her permission to take the items and not pay for them after she told him they were hers. This might be one of the reasons the price of groceries is increasing, because employees allow people to take items.I was in total disbelief. I purchased my items, in shock and walked out. Hindsight, I should've said something to a manager. But between my experience at the pharmacy counter and witnessing that, I just left.

My five year old and i walked into Walgreens on 14 th and University i had left my phone at home and asked the very disheveled 'manager' to borrow the phone to hail a cab. As she slid the phone within reach i asked if she happened to have the number handy. NO....... Ok? So as she looked at me disoriented i asked to borrow a phone book. Without moving looked around as though one was going to appear in mid air. At this point i realized this was NOT a kind human. None the less i asked if perhaps the internet would come in handy. The answer i got was WE HAVE NO PUBLIC INTERNET. AT that moment my little girl was learning a sad reality of what our world has become. In an effort to play the bigger person i asked for the manager. When she claimed to be the manager I in fact simply said 'THAT is most unfortunate.' And walked to the cashier, stood in line, and once my turn i asked the girl behind the counter if she may have a phonebook or the number for a cab. It was taped to the wall. I was definitely grateful for that preparedness. As she was kind enough to jot it down i was very clear about my interpretation of this 'manager' when i loudly stated 'ur manager has no clue how to use the internet'. In no way was it anything but a loud set of words. And as suspected she was hiding behind a shelf and claimed she knew how to use the internet. Hmmmmm..... and that if i was going to talk like that i needed to leave. Then i asked 'Talk like what?' She continue to inform me if i did not leave she was going to call the cops. Smh i KNOW FOR A FACT walgreens has struggled to find a good manager for that specific location. And i am sorry to say WALGREENS..... NEXT! This woman visually was a sad representation of what im sure ur truely wanting to achieve. To have a lady walk in with her little girl who is needing a little assistance. And to be so FING LAZY and really NOT want to help. Let alone not even know the number was on a wall. No care. None. And then i had no right to be confused by her behavior and want to call the police?? Perhaps she is racist. Could that be Walgreens? Idk. Im baffled at how something so simple on such a beautiful day turned out out to ruin this 'managers' day. As sad as i was to think this woman is so miserable in life she chose to be snarkie, lazy, and so terribly unwilling to practice customer service skills. Then again Walgreens has struggled so much with hiring options they took what they could get. Walgreens if i didnt already know how little u pay ur employees id gladly go in and take that unfortunate humans job. Im more then qualified. But my faith in humanity did not fail me i was able to borrow the phone at Dunkin donuts. It was a young lady who not only valued her appearance as a store representative but was valued for her fellowship. And yes i pulled my perscriprions and went a few doors down to medicap. Ten years with walgreens i pray whatever is going on in this woman's life will not continue to tear her down too much further. Its costing Walgreens money and only permeates a negative vibe for everyone. Good luck Walgreens and lets hope the next one is more customer oriented.

The pharmacy here is awful, they are completely and utterly irresponsible, from losing scripts, to not having medicine filled on time, the list goes on. These employees are down right lazy and uneducated. I can't even count at this point how many times my medicine has been incorrect or not even there then they can't take responsibility and end up blaming it on the doctor. I have tried to give this pharmacy the benefit of doubt but they mess it up every time. Sick and tired of their low effort, I will NEVER return to this pharmacy. If you guys are reading this do not waste your time on the shitty establishment of a "pharmacy". Also if any of the workers in the pharmacy are reading this..... DO BETTER.

The pharmacy is always full and understaffed. They switched my medicine manufacturer without telling me and I ended up hospitalized. The pharmacy is always in a rush. The front desk clerks usually move very slowly so that gets backed up too. I'd choose a different place if possible. Store is usually clean though. They just need more/ better staff. 1 star for putting my life at risk.

The overall shopping experience at the store is excellent and the staff is great! The pharmacy has dropped quite a bit lately in customer service and overall experience and I hope it returns to its previous excellent and caring standards very soon.
