“New to the area and newly retired, I attended my first meeting at the Glenwood American Legion. Everyone was pretty friendly and I was quickly joined up. In fact, I was so impressed, I joined my husband, whom is still on active duty. This American Legion seems to really embrace the community and community activities. I hope I can be a contributing member and encourage other vets to join this great organization.”
