“When I moved back to the Des Moines area, Dr. Chamberlain came very highly recommended by my previous Vet. She has lived up to the reputation! Loki‘s condition is doing much better and they did an excellent job with the neutering, he barely noticed they were gone lol and the price was over $100 cheaper than expected. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. My ONLY complaint is the pharmacy that they use is expensive, prednisolone is only six dollars at my previous vet and it was $60 at this pharmacy so that’s 10 times a more expensive. But they will write you a prescription and you can take it to a different pharmacy.”
“We’ve been visiting Dr Pam and her staff for about the last year and honestly couldn’t have had any better experiences each time. We have a young pudelpointer (not a common breed) but she and her staff are familiar and knowledgeable and know the breed. Our other dog, a nearly 11 year old lab, had a situation brought to our attention at her previous veterinarian. We brought that information to Dr Pam and she offered a straight-forward interpretation and analysis while the previous vet provided almost nothing but worry. Can’t say enough good things about the whole staff and so glad we found Dr Pam at Northwest Vet!”

“I am very happy with my visit to Value Vet. I did not have an appointment, so I showed up right as they opened at 7am as a walk-in. The front desk staff was very helpful getting my cat checked in. I didn't have to wait for someone to take us back to an exam room. The nurse checked out my cat immediately and was very gentle and kind, while still being assertive enough to evaluate a scared cat.
When the vet came in she listened intently without interrupting or making me feel like I didn't know what was going on with my pet. I felt like the staff genuinely cared about me and my cat. When making a treatment plan, the vet was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. She was upfront about prices, and even offered more cost-effective options for the expensive items my cat needed.
Of course, every vet visit is costly. I ended up spending $450, but for the quality and quantity of the items; it seemed fair. Most of the total amount came from the wellness check and the tests done to my cat, but they were upfront about the prices before starting anything.
It has been 4 days since our visit and my cat's condition is improving quickly. I am very happy with the care we both recieved at Value Vet, and I will be taking him back for a follow up visit soon. Thank you! ?”

“Highly recommend. My girl had some weird lumps on her nipple. They did tests and surgery right away. It was cancer. She had a fever and developed a UTI during recovery. It was easy to get her in and seen and treated for these issues. We just had a follow up and her urine test is back to normal and no cancer cells have not reappeared. They saved my girls life and for a fraction of the cost of the mega ran vet companies. They also have an office in Perry. We utilize both offices. The Granger office has XRay machines. The Perry office performed our girls surgery.”
