“I have been going to Hope Waukee for about 3 months now, and I will preface this by saying this was my re-introduction back into church. I grew up in a traditional LCMS church, and let me just say this is not that. In a good way :) There is a strong focus on bridging generational and denominational divides. A strong focus on Jesus as our savior, His desire to have a relationship with us, and going into the world as His hands and feet. There IS presence of liturgy, sacrament, and scripture. But if you’re looking for a traditional service with robes and hymns, this is not is.
It has also been a blessing to experience their One Body program. The way that this program makes church accessible for families like mine is truly unmatched. My son who has autism is so welcomed and loved. His needs are met by each volunteer and they follow his lead beautifully.
There are also a lot of other groups to get involved in if you’re wanting to truly build a community here!
No church is perfect. If it was, there wouldn’t be a need for church. There are a few theological things I may still have questions on or may not fully agree with. But ultimately, if you want to worship a perfect God among imperfect people, Hope Waukee would be a great church to try. You may even end up calling it home like we did.”

“Great music and meaningful sermon. Very friendly congregation. We have been searching for the right church for 4 yrs. We just may have found it in the Ashworth Church.”
“The church with ❤️ where you are welcomed. We wanted to find a church to call home and Prairie Creek is where our children felt called to be.Great pastoral staff and children/youth programs are just the beginning. Prairie Creek is a contemporary church that focuses on the gospel and the Bible and invests in the community through outreach. Many many aspects to be involved in and be a contributing part of. :)”
