Scheduled multiple vaccines a week a part. Nurse told me she gave me the flu shot and it wasn’t til later I realized I was supposed to get the pneumonia not flu vaccine. Came back for second round and asked them to check on what she actually gave me so I could get the correct shot. Turns out she failed to write down what she gave me!! They were going to call her and ask if she could remember!? I declined. Now I have to work with my doc to figured out what’s next. Time to find another pharmacy. And, NO, I’m not contacting the manager to figure out what happened. Won’t waste one more minute with this pharmacy.

I had to visit the pharmacy twice because they missed a prescription the first time. I returned and they didn’t have the prescription filled so I had to wait for 15 minutes. The second time visiting, I asked if the amount charged was right and were assured that we were paying the correct amount. I returned home to find my spouse - freshly out of surgery - on the phone because HyVee realized in the time it took me to drive home that they had NOT charged him the correct amount. Incredibly disappointing.

Don’t matter when you go or when your prescription was sent in, it is never ready.
The people are always kind. I just think it’s their system that has broken.

I have been going here since they opened for the whole families medications, but every time i think its just a bad day next time will be better. it never is. the drive thru is awful you will stand in like for 20 mins and get to the window be greeted and for the other lane to get helped multiple times and cars pass but still wait. this is not just a one time problem its every time. when you go inside there is no line.

Terrible customer service. Make sure you have plenty of time to pickup meds. And make sure they give you your card back!

They do well. There is a bad shortage for many ADHD medications right now. They are often out of my prescription and quick to offer me an equal alternative that they do have in stock. I know many people that are just unable to get their prescriptions right now so I'm glad this pharmacy is doing their best to mitigate that.

We went to urgent care then needed an epipen asap due to bee sting & our reg pharmacy did not have the one we needed so they quickly checked with Hyvee Grimes & they had one available & said it would be ready in 5 mins....NOPE it took them OVER AN HOUR even after being told the situation by the other pharmacist & my spouse & telling other pharmacy to have us head that way as it would be ready in 5 mins. ZERO sense of urgency by their staff in a possible emergency situation.

I'm not sure how they could be worse. Prescriptions are never ready, even when called in 6-8 hours earlier. I don't think they even start working on them until the customer arrives. They don't contact you to tell you when they are out of something and can't fill a prescription, they just let you show up and wait in line. Today I thought I'd call ahead based on previous experience to set them up for success. Nope. I was told they would not have the medication I needed until sometime the next day. I asked them to cancel and told them I'd have my dental office send the prescription to another pharmacy. One hour later, I get a text message telling me my prescription is ready. Had to call back again wasting more time to let them know I would not be coming back. Do yourself a favor, trust the other recent reviews and go elsewhere!

We have had nothing but problems every since we switches to Hy-Vee pharmacy in Grimes. Communication is awful, never get a call when a script is ready, scrips are never filled when I show up and due to this, some are delayed and then the next time they say it's too early to fill but it's because they delayed it last time. The worst.

i’m always impressed with this pharmacy. they’re very pleasant and patient. they’re always honest about how long everything will take. getting prescriptions isn’t always the easiest errand, but i hardly feel inconvenienced when i go through this pharmacy.

They don’t contact you, or the doctor if they don’t have the medicine. You walk in and then find out they don’t have your prescription filled. If they don’t have your prescription then have to contact your provider to get a new prescription written somewhere else.
