Initially, I was pleased as MobilityWorks found & installed a Ricon two-post slider lift into our full-size GMC van. After installation, there was a persistent current drain causing the battery to die within a few days. They installed a doorjam shut-off switch to try to stop it. Didn't work - but they tired. The lift had a factory defect causing the sill plate to kink sideways, jamming the opening of the posts. I returned (~2 hours drive) so they could try something. That didn't work so they told me they would confer with the factory to seek a resolution. Then, that's all we ever heard. Repeated attempts to communicate with them went unanswered. I stopped getting responses from them after they promised to seek help from the Ricon factory. So, I struggle with the sill plate falling into position every time. Either Ricon dumped MobilityWorks or MW figured they would ignore me - whatever. Very disappointed.

Lisbaldo helped my husband out on his lunch hour to solder wiring on our controller for the lift in our van. Works great>

Mobility Works (Grimes, Iowa location. Provided outstanding customer service for my conversion vans 6-point moveable drivers seat that was broken. I was new customer and I did not purchase my van from them. The entire experience was outstanding Lori Weaver (Service Manger) is top shelf and so customer focused!

I would totally recommend renting a van if needed from MobilityWorks! They were so accommodating and so helpful when we needed to extend our rental! Staff was super friendly as well!

Lisbaldo was friendly, efficient, and had a repair done in a few minutes. This is five star customer service. We appreciated his expertise.He did not want us to leave without understanding all of the repair that was done and made sure that it was working well. All of the staff were friendly and a great help.

Mobility Works/Grimes Iowa determined there was a safety concern regarding my hand controls; Lisbaldo explained the options and went to work. All the staff there are helpful and enjoyable to talk with. Sounds as if they are expanding the services they offer and look forward to our future together. Thank you Mobility Works!!

I wanted to take a Korean war veteran, who was wheel chair bound, to an Iowa Cubs baseball game. He lives in MarshallTown, at the Veterans Home, and I was unsure how I could get him there. I found Mobility Works in Grimes Iowa, and couldn't be happier with my discovery.I put in my reservation, it was followed up with a conformation the day before, the receptionest explained everything in my rental agreement, and also gave a demonstration of how the ramp and safety devices worked.I highly recommend Mobility Works, if you should ever have the need to transport someone, but don't have a vehicle that can handle a wheel chair.Thank You Mobility Works, for helping me with an 89th birthday gift, to a deserving Veteran.

Visited with my boss to pick up the van that MobilityWorks has repaired a few times. It's unfortunate that CareInitiatives has to take their only transportation for their elderly residents 2 hours away to be repaired. MobilityWorks has the knowledge necessary to make sure that the repair are timely, so that this vehicle is not out of service for any longer than necessary.

I rented a wheelchair accessible van from MobilityWorks for my trip in Iowa and they were fantastic. The rental department (Suzette in particular) was easy to work with and very friendly. I would definitely rent from this MobilityWorks again!
