Did not get anything close to what I requested. Went home and couldn't do anything with my hair. Called the next day but had to leave a message. No one called me back. First and last time at this salon.

Absolute best experience I’ve ever had at a hair salon! I had dry, damaged, color treated hair that was just growing back from hair loss and I was at my wit’s end. Libby made me feel immediately comfortable and safe and Brooklyn did an amazing job with my color! They saved my hair and I am so happy and grateful. I get so many compliments now and I’m blown away by how soft it still is. Thank you Thank you!

I needed a hair wash due to having an IV in my hand. The staff here fit me in at the end of the day, even stayed late to help me out since I wasn't able to wash my hair myself.

Where do I begin? Not only did Brooklyn do a great job on my cut and color, but Libby completely blew us away last night for our son’s first haircut. He has textured, dense, long curly hair with a major “shelf”. It wasn’t a simple cut at all. It took awhile. She was so knowledgeable about the types of curls he has, dry brushing before cutting, a special cutting technique to ensure his hair looked natural and healthy rather than choppy, the care of textured, mixed hair and so much more. She went above and beyond to ensure we were OK with what she was doing every step of the way, educating us about his type of hair and how we can maintain it better at home. The appointment ran long until past closing time, but we were never rushed at all. Also, her leadership with her younger stylist was amazing as she took it as a teachable moment due to the complexity of my son’s hair. The salon is cozy, cute and clean. I highly recommend both Brooklyn and Libby as your next stylist.

Hours state they're open till 8, yet when I walked in at 6:15,I was told that the stylists were finishing their last two appointments for the night and couldn't be seen
Your camera must be wrong because I was home in madrid by 6:40. I could not accept an appointment on a different day because I was out of town. It's good to know that when disappointed potential customers are honest about their experiences they then are essentially called a liar. Thank you and have a good day.

I just moved to Iowa about 2 weeks ago and have had issues when I have moved in the past with finding a new hair stylist. This was not the case this time! I had an appointment with Maddie and she did an AMAZING job!!She told me she has only been doing hair for a short period of time, but that had zero impact on the quality of her work. She was super friendly and made sure I was comfortable with as well as knew what she was doing. I will definitely be going back when it's time for a touch-up! Thank you Maddie!

I have been a loyal client of Talking Heads Salon for several years. I have never been disappointed! I love the atmosphere, the talented stylists and contrary to Teresa Fettkether and her 2 star review, they do serve wine...but this isn't a bar it's a salon. I find, like many others do, that you will always get what you pay for. :)
