A huge tree limb fell on my wife's car. When I got it back, it looks like brand new. When I got it back, it even smelled like brand new. How do you do that? Anyway good job Allen And crew!!

When I wrecked my car, I went immediately to the collision center my insurance company referred me to for a quote. I called my husband and told him about the wreck and he said to leave there and take my car to Details Plus Collision Center in Indianola. He proceeded to say, this is the best collision shop and he wanted only them to fix my car. He thinks the guy that works there does fantastic work. I wish I knew his name. Debbie, the co-owner was great too. Wrecking your car is stressful, yet I left that day stress-free. My car is repaired and you would never know I was in a wreck. Thank you! Job well done!

First the good: the work done on my truck looks good and was completed in a timely manner.The not so good: When I went in to schedule the work done on my vehicle I asked up front if the cost reflected in my estimate is what I would need to write the check for. I was told, “Yes, unless we get in there and find more damage than we initially saw.”But then I was asked if they could take a copy of the insurance estimate, which I allowed. The insurance had issued more money than Details Plus estimate had shown. In fact I had 3 estimates and all 3 were within $100 of each other.When I went to arrange pickup of my vehicle and confirm price/cost, the folks at DPCC insisted that I owed them the entirety of the insurance estimated cost despite the fact that no further damage was encountered. They wanted me to just sign the check over to them which was impossible because I had already deposited it into my account. (To be honest, I was excited to have an unexpected $400 to put into our propane tank for a quickly approaching winter.)DPCC said they accidentally left off the cost of painting the bumper, which in their estimate was MORE than the insurance had given us. So apparently DPCC are incompetent at providing accurate estimates with a $500 difference in what their original estimate was and what they ended up charging me. If it had come out of my pocket, it would have really put me in a financial bind.I hesitate to believe that their estimate was that far off the mark, however, considering the fact that I had 1 slightly higher estimate and 1 slightly lower estimate from other body shops. (Less than $50 both directions)I recognize that I should have never let them see the insurance check/estimate. My bad. That won’t happen again. But I did and now I know to take any future business elsewhere and I will direct all my friends and family away from this company. Do not recommend.Service: Body & Trim

Horrible customer service, never answers the phone and voicemail Is full. Took over a month to look at my truck then made a false claim to my insurance not stating all the damage that was actually done in the wreck and claimed it was all cosmetic, but my motor is actually totaled. Then didn’t have vehicle ready (like they told us they would) when we came to pick it up. Just a terrible experience and would not recommend them!
