Anymore Goodwill is completely out of line with prices. When a used tank or t-shirt is $4 and a pair of used jeans are $8 a person with low or no income surely can't afford to shop very often or at all. I realize more and more retail stores are donating new/old or out of season merchandise these days. Maybe, just maybe, I can understand paying slightly more than used prices. But prices they were 5 years ago. Heck it feels as if I'm paying new prices for used stuff now...common! I am a big shopper. I shop often and everywhere. I watch prices. I look for clearances and sales. Heck, I used to be one of them coupon junkies. When you find brand new products at a retail stores cheaper than you can at Goodwill that's RIDICULOUS!! To top that off even, now they ask everyone for a donation to boot!! Frankly I haven't witnessed a person with a obvious disability working there in years! I'd like to know exactly what mission it is they're begging for support on and why, what, when, where and how! Honestly, just by shopping there I feel I've already donated to the mission and then some!! They must be making the money tho because they've seriously cut their hours and number of stores and still raising prices. Way to go Goodwill!! Oh yeah, If you're about shopping vintage and antique, quarkey items, one of a kinds and just about anything of value. FORGET THAT at the store. Have to go online, bid on an auction sight with preset increments, pay for shipping and handling or pick up in Johnston now, wait for it to arrive OR shop clothes and shoes and dishes and whatevers! People do and will continue to donate at Goodwill. If you can afford it, go for it! Just remember the prices they are charging for merchandise is the same price (per piece) that you can deduct from your taxes if you donate that same item. Keep track of everything you donate and how many of each. It will add up quickly!

This Goodwill in Indianola Iowa is fantastic. The employees are friendly and helpful. The prices are right. Priced to sell and move the merchandise. My wife and I have made many good deals here since we moved here to Indianola.

It would be beneficial if mirrors could be put up If they are going to keep the dressing rooms closed. Then we could at least hold the garment up to see if it is what we might want to puchase.

I've been to a few Goodwills but this place had the biggest clothing selection. It lacked in other things tho. Not too many other things like books, movies or other things. It was majority clothing at this location. They did have a good selection of picture frames tho. I managed to find 5 good vhs tapes. Thd customer service was friendly.

They take reservations but don’t know the definition of reservation. Snobby old ladies making sure their other old lady friends get what they want first.
