I have been a customer at Walgreens Indianola for 7 plus years and every time I picked up a prescription from the drive through they have asked me what rewards number to use if the package included both my wife's and my prescriptions. If it was either for my wife or myself only, they always used the appropriate rewards number. Long story short, I got home and looked at the receipt and there were no rewards for the purchase. I immediately called the pharmacy and according to the attendant, I am responsible for making sure they give me the rewards and have to ask for it.I don't know when this process changed or even if it has changedand in retrospect, starting to feel I received service from an attendant with less than the enthusiasm I am used to receiving from the Indianola store.

This is a great place to get your medicine from. They always have the things you need when you need them! They are so supplied and have things for many different subjects. The workers are amazing, hard working, and have amazing customer service!

My Mom called to see if her prescription was ready and they told her we could come after 3:30. We had an appt in Knoxville so drove from Lacona to Indy. Got there at 3:48 and they say, nope another 1/2 hour. I explained we had an appt in Knoxville in less than 45 min so we couldn’t wait that long. Too bad was her attitude. So that means two trips from Lacona to Indianola to get one script. Ridiculous but has become their M.O. Time to move on!

Like the previous poster, I too have received rude customer service from the pharmacy tech at the indianola walgreens. She is very confrontational. But she is standing in earshot of the pharmacist and so this must be what she was hired to do. I clicked on one star because site would not post until I did. In reality no stars are deserved.

I can't thank the staff at the Indianola Walgreens enough for the service they have provided to me. Through Covid-19 and everything else this world has thrown at us the staff here has championed excellence and been STEADFAST!THANK YOU❣️

Pharmacy and front store work so hard dealing with rude entitled people all day. Notice no one has patience now days and everyone always needs something, take a breath and give workers time. Its not hard being a decent human to other humans

Is the Walgreens Tech, in Indianola Iowa, is the rudest person I've ever met.. I arrived early for a covid 19 test. The instructions require we be at least 5 minutes early. I live 40 minutes away so unfortunately I was 20 minutes early. She told me to leave and get back in line. At first I thought she was kidding, then I realized she was not. If you want really BAD and RUDE service come to this pharmacy.

3 times now they have been out of vital medication that is needed by a brain cancer patient. What type of pharmacy are you if your medications are out of stock. You are causing a cancer patient to suffer extreme pain due to your lack of keeping your pharmacy supplied!!! Luckily Medicap in Norwalk has the medication as they care for their customers
