Hobby Rising is the online branch of The Hobby Corner, a hobby shop located in Eastern Iowa on the east side of town in what used to be Sycamore Mall. The store offers fast and friendly service with very fast shipping online. People come to The Hobby Corner to meet others and let their enthusiasm grow, creating a definite sense of community. The knowledgeable team helps customers find exactly what they’re looking for and will order anything at no additional cost if it is not in the store. The shop has a game room with space for play, where you can battle in Magic: The Gathering, explore tabletop RPGs, or join board game night on Thursdays. You can also sell your used board games in the store for store credit. With so many unique and appropriately priced items, it is a great place to go out of your way to visit for a gift or something exciting to enjoy. Hobby Corner is a great place to shop. There's something for everyone. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they carry a very wide selection of items from science experiments to puzzles and board games to miniature war games.
