They had puzzles for both cats and dogs- one of my cats loves puzzles. One of my cats has 42 allergies, and so we normally have to order special brands of treats for her, but this store actually carries the treats in store! I will definitely be back! There were so many options of cat toys too!

He was long overdue for a grooming with knots and lots of shedding. She was very accommodating, getting me in last minute and trimming him just as I asked. He loves running through weeds and rolling in everything. We like Riggs to have a short cut, not the typical golden retriever look. He looks great and feels great! Thanks again, Cassie!

The kindness, compassion, and attention they showed our kitten and our family was unmatched. We came here for the first time as our regular vet was closed for the week but we are forever clients now. I can't imagine a better team to take care of our furbabies. We received them as a recommendation and will forever recommend them to others.

The staff took time to explain medication regimens and best practices to keep my dog in a healthy weight, good health, and good oral care. They were transparent and helped us improve our home routine in order to avoid unnecessary teeth cleanings by keeping his teeth tartar free on our own. I love going here and it reminded me of my favorite vet clinic from my home town. I would definitely recommend it to others. Cost is very reasonable and they are forward any additional costs before doing testing.

All pets veterinary got me in the same day. The vet and vet tech treated my kitty like it was their own. All staff were super nice and welcoming! 4821 US-6 Unit 2, Iowa CityI cannot recommend Knallhart Kennels and Training Academy enough. We have two Giant Schnauzers, Suki, 11, and Revi, 5. Revi had become so domineering and pushy that Suki was afraid to go outside to potty and sometimes had accidents in the house. We were at our wits’ end.
I was hesitant about sending Revi to “overnight boot camp” for six weeks, but after speaking with Chelsey, the owner, I felt confident giving them a try. She listened, understood our situation, and had a thoughtful plan that addressed our real household dynamic, not just one dog’s behavior.
The results have been incredible. When Revi came home, I felt prepared to handle her, and with the tools and training Knallhart provided, she began behaving beautifully. Almost four months later, things are about 95% better. Revi is calmer with Suki, responds to commands, and can now handle people coming to the door without excessive barking and jumping.
Even our vet was shocked when I brought both dogs in together without any incident. Knallhart helped bring peace back into our home, and I am so grateful to Chelsey and her team. If you feel out of options with difficult dog behavior, contact Knallhart and discuss your situation with Chelsey.

Sad story time: I was on my 4th anniversary tip, in spain, and one of my dogs had a previously unknown heart tumor rupture. The manager took him to get the best medical care he could get and stayed with him as he drew his last breath, keeping us informed every step of the way. I could not have asked for better people. Sure, it's a business, but it's utterly clear that they truly love and care for our dogs nearly as much as we do.

I came in today super stressed due to money issues and i was immediately met with a positive and cheerful smile which boosted my spirits in spite of the dreadful day ive had. She even gave me a water as well as an accurate time estimate of how long the food was going to take to make. To be honest, i wouldve never considered coming here if not for her attitude and spirit but now I am!

You might have to park along the street somewhere and there might be a small wait for a table but it's definitely worth it. The food is fantastic. The fried pork tenderloin was one of the best I've ever had and their selection of flatbread pizzas was really good. The drink selection was good too. My wife had a cherry limeaid mule and I enjoyed trying some of the local beers on tap. This place really mastered the feel of a neighborhood bar where everyone feels welcome including families. Highly recommended.

I guess that has to be expected on a busy Friday night.

1940 Lower Muscatine Rd, Iowa CityWe were passing through town and I wanted to try some ribs at the rib shack. I find at Barbecue places either the rib itself is the star of the show or the sauce. This location is definitely the sauces are the star of the show. The ribs are good I have a good flavor put the sauces burned out the whole new level of taste. I tried the ribs with each sauce and they all brought out a unique delicious flavor. The Fry's the mac and cheese for outstanding. Italian sausage was good I had not had one of those smoked before. The brisket was a little dry could have just been the timing.
