313 East 2nd Street, MuscatineI found this place because I was visiting the soap shop down the street and asked for a restaurant recommendation. The guy behind the counter spoke so highly of this place, especially because the owners are Italian and make family recipes. I thought, well, now I HAVE to try it!
I’m so glad I did. I ordered the special of the night — stuffed shells with pink sauce — and it was exactly the kind of comfort food I was hoping for. Ricotta-filled shells covered in that delicious blend of red and white sauce, served with a garlic knot and a salad-with the addition of a soda, it was around $20.
The food was delicious, but the service really made this place special. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and it honestly felt like I was a local instead of someone just passing through town.
And now I’m kicking myself for not trying one of the desserts!
Next time we’re in town, I’ll definitely be back. A great recommendation that turned into a really great meal!

A seat at the bar, a cold iced tea on a hot June day, and before long, a monster of a double cheeseburger. Hot, juicy, flavorful - I’ve no idea what I could have done to make it better.
Pro tip: when you get a double, order with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. None of those things will fit on the sandwich (unless you have a jaw you can unhinge). Just consider them a side salad.

She has exceeded all of our expectations with potty training, crate training, listening and obeying commands. The veterinarian compliments Bella all of the time because of how well behaved she is for her checkups. And our family, friends and strangers are always eager to tell us how beautiful she is. It was so nice to be able to meet Bella’s parents before picking her up. I love seeing the personality of her mother but look just like her father. The love she received from her first family was unconditional. We were truly blessed to have our Bella!! The Hammons Family
