331 E Market St, Iowa City“The owners are so knowledgeable and kind! I had an older chair that needed fixing and Ryan and Clara not only offered very useful advice, but were able to refer me to a great woodworker who fixed my chair within a week! Will definitely be coming back here, these guys are great!!”
“Clean, friendly, high turnover of items so always a good selection. I donate as well as shop frequently, knowing I'm supporting their good works around the world.”

They've always had the best mix of vintage and great new pieces from high quality independent designers. Affordable apothecary, jewelry and gift options. They have tonnnns of high quality secondhand pieces that are super affordable. Basically everyone’s go-to shop in Iowa City. Not to mention an incredible staff and community oriented owner.”

1800 Stevens Dr, Iowa City“Nice older man helped make my first visit very enjoyable. Very reasonable prices and will be returning. They don't require masks after 1:00pm, so just go after that time if that's an issue for you.”
“Artifacts is unique enough and merchandise moves so quickly that I make it a point to visit the store at least one or more times per month. As a lifelong collector, I can tell you confidently that this store always has something to offer that will be quality, unusual, collectible, and worth the trip. The owner, Todd, loves the "unboring" stuff of life, and has a great eye for collecting for the store and finding consigners that have "great stuff". I NEVER visit Iowa City without making this a "must stop" destination.”
