“This is a great location! The selection is endless and very well organized. Not to mention it is really well stocked. My husband drives from Ames to get a specific brand of whiskey when he’s craving it since nowhere in Ames carries it lol.
The store is kept clean and free of any trip or spill hazards. The outside is well kept also. There isn’t any garbage or cigarette butts spread around.
The staff is always really helpful and pleasant to talk with. They’ve even offered to order something that they don’t usually carry. Any time we call, they’re kind and helpful on the phone and have offered to hold the specific bottle we were asking about until we arrived from Ames.”

“I give 4 stars…although the workers are amazing. I really wish they would bring back the self defense items. That is what got my attention to The Smoke Shop and kept me coming back. I also like the option for drive thru. However, the self defense items were a big perk aside from the workers. Please bring them back. That is the only thing taking away from 5 stars.”

“Stopped in this afternoon to pick up some birthday cigars for myself. The atmosphere is so inviting, I decided to buy one to burn inside the lounge to kill time before a dinner reservation. The selection was amazing. (I.e. I love wasabi, who knew they make Wasabi cigars?!?) I had to do a couple of laps around the humidor room before I could make my choices. It’s very relaxed and inviting. Seating was very comfortable and they have multiple TVs tuned into different sports. The gentleman that helped me gave the epitome of great service. If you’re a cigar novice, it’s the place to go. Tell them what you’re looking for, and trust the pros! Iowa Cigar Co. gained a repeat patron in me. Keep up the great work!”

“This place has so much variety and selections on alcohol and smoke stuff that is hard to find in Johnston. Now i dont have to go far to get what i want, and at very good price! The guy who runs this place is cool and helpful. Definitely what johnston (me) needed.”
