No wait. Bays were clean. Water pressure was excellent!

The price of the wash was raised but the quality is declining. Three foam hasn't worked in months. No need to get ultimate wash because you just get a basic spray and drip dry. Dryer time is to short and inefficient. Just had my last wash here.Paying more isn't the problem if you deliver a good product.

I'm not sure if the super vacuum was actually superior to the other cheaper vacuum setting. It was louder and had more suction however I feel like it took just as much time and effort as it does at a normal powered vacuum. I want to try the carpet scent injectors. There just wasn't time, the family was unusually destructive this time around so all my time and money was barely enough to vacuum and wash. Next time I suppose.

This is my "go to" car wash in Marshalltown, IA. There are 3 self wash bays and an auto wash. The auto wash is the most inexpensive in town.

I’d rate this place as ‘ok’. Not superlative, but adequate. Not terribly well maintained, but it is touchless and your vehicle will come clean. What you can’t always depend on is all the special treatments being topped off. The status display is currently not functional and the dryer wasn’t working during part of the summer.I still use it primarily because it’s on my way home.

I know someone who had a bad experience with the equipment locking them in the bay, but it's a business, things may break down from time to time. (& it's an "Un-manned" car wash). I've had to call the owners for something not working in the past and I can't speak for the lady, but the guy I talked to was super friendly and cordial. I have a hard time believing they'd yell at you when THEIR stuff broke down... I drive by it at LEAST 6 times a day, and every-time the auto bay has broke, they block it off and have someone repairing it asap, so for them to tell you "Get out, you're costing me money" seems very far fetched cause if it's broke, they aren't making money weather you're in there or not... Did you just leave your car in there and walk away or what? That's the only way I could see them "Telling" you to get your car out... lol. Anyways.... I have lived about 6 blocks from here for the past 9 years, and I wash all 3 of my vehicles, mower, and motorcycle here almost once a week (Weather permitting). I've tried every wash in town, and this one gets the business for several reasons. #1 - The water presser is fantastic in the self serve bays. #2 - They take debit card at self serve and the automatic wash. (Which most don't have in town). So it's super convenient to not have to stop for cash, and be able to wash at your own leisure while not having to worry about a timer! Another plus to that is because you usually don't not know EXACTLY how much $$ each wash will take so you don't have to break a $10 and end up with $3-$4 in quarters in your pocket afterwards. #3 - The automatic wash is the best in town for Price to cleaning ratio. I've tried the $7, $8 & $9 wash. the $7 & $8 are the same minus the blow drying at the end (which you don't get with the $7). If you're car is really dirty/grimmy you better just do the $9 wash though. The $9 gives you several extra 'passes'. And I have yet to come home with any grime left on either my white or black vehicles using the $9 wash. (Again I do wash them pretty regularly, so results may differ if you don't wash YOUR car for weeks on end.) This place get's nothing but an A+ rating from me.
