“We had a flat tire on a boat trailer and were stranded on the highway adjacent to Prairie City was able to call a tire store in that town but they recommended Hewitt NAPA in Monroe, we were also calling other emergency services on our cell phone during the same time. We had a spare but didn't have the proper size bar to remove the tire from the truck jack. We had just purchased the boat and were transporting home when the tire went flat. Hewitt interrupted their busy schedule to get us fast service in changing our flat, we drove to their store and purchased a new tire, then had it mounted it on the trailer.
I should add we got 2 quotes for just changing the tire from other emergency services to with the spare tire were more than than the total cost from Hewitt that included the new tire. One quote was more than double Hewitt cost.
The young gentleman that was sent to our vehicle and the service person at the store were excellent in providing everything we needed. We purchased a bar and socket at this store for this type of emergency for our new boat trailer.”
