Precision of New Hampton

Auto Parts
Hours: Precision of New Hampton is a long-established transmission parts and torque converter specialist based in New Hampton, Iowa. With over 35 years of industry experience, the business has built a reputation for quality products and excellent customer service. Reviewers praise the dedicated and friendly staff, who go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. One customer received a guided tour of the facility and felt "special" despite having a relatively small order. Many customers express their loyalty, only using Precision torque converters due to their reliable performance. However, not all experiences have been positive. One customer had significant issues with a repaired torque converter, which continued to fail even after multiple returns to Precision. The customer felt the business provided poor quality work and lacked professionalism in resolving the problem. Another reviewer also had a negative experience, having to spend thousands more to correct issues themselves after Precision's repair work. Overall, Precision of New Hampton seems to deliver quality products and service to the majority of its customers, though a small number have encountered serious problems requiring extensive additional work and expense.
