Having been in the transmission business now a pretty long time, I can say I've used pretty much everyone. I used to be a big fan of Precision, was a customer for many years. Started my own business 8 years ago, of course had to use precision. 2nd or 3rd converter into business on my own with them, they send me a 47/48re billet nice converter. Long story short. They send me the wrong converter in the right box. I don't pick up on the mistake. It was the other style, seals internal instead of in the pump. Transmission blows up of course. I find the mistake. Precision proceeds to say with 100% certainty they could have not sent the wrong converter. LOL. IVE ONLY BOUGHT like 3 converters and was the first 47/48re billet I purchased..... HOW did I get the wrong converter..... A precision converter. THE ABSOLUTE WORST IMPOSSIBLE AND INCAPABLE OF RESPONSIBILITY. So I was out the 600$. And had to buy a new one..... Where did I buy? SUNCOAST. As a new business, new relationship it was a dent. Too bad because I always loved the quality. SUNCOAST was over 1000$ but it's still running strong. Great buy. Precision. Thank you for not helping me at all when I needed you. I didn't forget about you.

The product I purchased of theirs is pretty good but my customer service experience with precision of new hampton was the worst I have ever had with any company ever. This is how it went: I call precision of new hampton about ordering a torque converter. About two hours later I was called back and told to order from their nearest distributer the next state over from me (a 4 hour drive from me, kinda inconvenient to drive that far but I needed the part) That distributor wanted to help me out and then called precision of new hampton for me in order to try and find if there was a closer distributor to me. Precision of new hampton told them the name of a distributor that was supposed to be closer but was actually even further (5 hours from me). So then I get In touch with that distributor and they made me aware of the fact that precision of new hampton has a warehouse location (with the part I needed in stock) less than 45 minutes from my address. He also suggested calling them to request an exception to their no-selling-direct-to-costomer policy In the interest of good customer service. Precision of new hampton told me they "have too many customers" already and they I would have to drive down to (the three hour away) distributer to buy my part. I really don't understand why a company would chose to do business like this. I unfortunately needed that torque converter asap and was forced to drive the next state over when the part literally exists 45 minutes away from my house.

Had my trans guy order me and another guy a triple disc lock up converter. This is where he went through. I spent $800+ on a converter just to ruin my couple thousand dollar transmission sent converter out to be cleaned to be told it was built wrong and basically a stock unit. Had another friend that blew up his trans before us now have suspicions that it may have been the converter ? waste of money!

What a fantastic bunch of people!! I had a problem with my torque converter. Not only did they fix my issue(s) I was treated to a guided tour of the business and it’s operations. The employees who I interacted with was very helpful, friendly and seems happy to be to part of an amazing place. This place is so busy with multi Million dollar contracts… I felt special these people took time to fix my 1 torque converter and gave me some good training.I can’t say enough good things about these people. They took very good care of me.If you have any doubts or concerns about using Precision for your needs, let my put your concerns to rest. You will be in good hands. Also tell them Tim from Indiana set ya.

0 Stars! $7000+ spent on the Unit as well as shipping.Sent a Torque Converter from a Terra Gator to them to get “all fixed up”. Said they do them all the time. Said they can fix or make whatever they need to to make it good as new again. Specifically mentioned the cracked fins. Got T/C back months later. Installed,… mechanically locked up on install. Was like pulling teeth to convince them there was a problem. Shipped it back up. About a month later we got it back again. Seemed to work after install. Customer used machine for 3 weeks and T/C interrupt clutch burnt up again. Customer swapped the bed over to another truck and we finally got truck back in here to make the buck stop here and sort it out. Come to find out we originally Shipped it up with 6 clutches on interrupt clutch (that were burnt up) came back with 3 clutches. Now the transmission is out for the 3rd time and we are having pay about $2000 in parts to rebuilt the T/C again. Poor quality/professionalism, pathetic company. Don’t use them especially for these terra gator machines. It’s a waste of money and it’s always your fault not theirs or “their guy is out sick” every time you try to call in. Transmission out 3 times, and we should have just made parts ourselves the first time. Cause they didn’t. They just messed the whole thing up. Thanks a million Junkerville of New Hampton. And yes I’m HOT right now, thanks for asking. Missing lip seals internally, some lip seals appear to be out of silicone!?!?! Return springs stacked up completely wrong?!?!? Over 7K in and it’s actually worse than the Original problem I sent it in for! Too bad it takes months to do anything otherwise I’d cancel my credit card transaction with them.

Review is not fake! Spent over $5k with them. And having to spend another 4K-5k in parts correcting the issue ourselves. Had to send back for warranty once and it failed again. No metal if fluid. Found parts vender and fixed ourselves. Told the owner/builder would call us and he never did.

I don't believe there is anyone that provides reman torque converters that is doing it better than this group. Once and done and competitively priced.
