“The IMU is an excellent full service local hotel in the Iowa City area and also serves as the student center for the University of Iowa. The meeting rooms are well appointed. Multiple dining options are available. The university bookstore has a wide variety of specialty items and supplies as well as tech devices. The location is ideal for access to campus, downtown, and trails along the Iowa River.”

901 Melrose Ave, Iowa City“We hosted our daughter's wedding reception at the Heights Rooftop and were very pleased with the experience. Sara Schminke was our main contact person and she was great to work with. She was above and beyond at communicating, answering and solving our questions. She was able to listen to our ideas and goals, and she worked diligently with us to come up with excellent solutions. The venue itself was wonderful. The view from the rooftop was magical,, and the overall feeling of the room was beautiful. The food was delicious. The staff was outstanding...friendly and hardworking. We highly recommend this venue.”
“Wonderful (FREE) art museum on the University of Iowa campus. Stanley has a fantastic collection. The museum is not very large, so it is perfect for a visit with kids and nice for a non-daunting visit as an adult. They do regular programming here for youth and adults. When we visited there was a scavenger hunt oriented game for kids. The staff was very professional and friendly. They made us feel really welcome. One thing to note - food and drink are not allowed on the collection level. They have lockers free of charge to store your belongings.”
“First time playing here and really enjoyed it. Front 9 is very open and not a lot of trouble to find, but still some nice holes. Back 9 was a whole different story! Very scenic and tight! Course is short; only 6,315 from the tips, bit it's a brute of a par 71. Greens were rolling very smooth. Will definitely be back.”

Not too sweet, not too bland, it was just right. The baristas were also very quick about getting our drinks made, which was nice. I didn't stay to drink since we were out and about, but it seems like a great place to study or work. Lots of tables and seating options!”
“Love this coffee house. It has the best coffee I've ever had, delicious bakery items, cute merch, plus it is the perfect place to get some work done or catch up with friends.”

“One of the most fun laid back places around the area. The bartenders are awesome and a lot of fun to interact with. The food is delicious and Karaoke rocks the house on Friday Nights. The Legion is also a good place to catch a football or baseball game. I would highly recommend this place to any group of people.”

“The food was amazing took my parents there when they were in town. Yet another restaurant that makes everything from scratch. Service was top notch. The restaurant participates in team service so you never really want for anything. The atmosphere was above and beyond. Super cool architecture. Really awesome space to dine and spend time with your friends and family. We noticed that they offer a brunch menu on the weekends. This place knows what they're doing!!”
