For a smaller bank, Raccoon Valley sure knows how to efficiently and effectively handle all banking transactions, and situations that ay arise, whenever I've dealt with them on. If you want to feel appreciated as a customer, get helpful information and/or advice, reliable customer service, and feel like you're not just another "nobody" walking into a financial institution, you'll want to bank here. Every emploee at each branch I've ever dealt with (mainly the Perry and Grimes locations) has always been helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and makes a person feel like they genuinely care about you!Today I had an issue that I needed to call the bank about, I spoke to Melissa at the Perry Branch. She was absolutely amazing, top notch customer service as far as I'm concerned! She took her time and thoroughly explained everything I asked about, listened intently and carefully, she answered all of my questions, went above and beyond to ensure I was fully informed of all options and spoke honestly about any risks that could be involved. She didn't rush me or rush through our conversation. She made me feel as if she was truly concerned and wanted to look out for my best interests! It's hard to find customer service of this level in the world today.Melissa, along with others at both the Perry and Grimes branches have excellent customer service skills, are kind, and helpful, always! Other banks/companies could take lessons from the employees at both these branches.It's obvious that Raccoon Valley Bank has invested in their employees and trained them properly. It's very much appreciated by me, a person who has worked with customers and in the customer service field for over 35 years. Thank you Raccoon Valley for your dedication to training and hiring people who can and do perform at the highest level of customer service care! And a big, huge shout out, to Melissa specifically, for going the extra mile today!! It's quite refreshing to speak to someone with such a high level of genuine concern, customer service, and who wants to make sure her customers are fully knowledgeable and taken care of!!A++++

Friendly service, unlike other banks(Great Western for example), they'll let you exchange your change(pennies) and never complain or even asking I have an account. That still means something. Thanks again, I'll be back and refer all I know to you.???

Horrible customer service provided by Denise. My husband and I have banked with Raccoon Valley State Bank for 22 plus years. After today's conversation with Denise we will take our accounts elsewhere.
