It sounds really hard to find a reasonably priced in the city of Des Moines this car washes by far the best bang for your buck customer services on point they actually answered the phone when I called about a jammed quarter I couldn't have asked for a better maintenance dude and experience at a car wash. The city of Des Moines, as far as a car wash is concerned, it's either way too overpriced or it's really cheap but very little time. Not the case with this one. 10/10 the definitely earned a repeat customer”

“Its actually a pretty decent carwash. I am super pick and hand wash my jeep because autos dont get along with lifted vehicles. Has an air dryer and is card friendly. Air dryer needs a different style nosil bit still works decent. Wax spray stuff gets tangled in other hoses. Would be nice to have a card friendly towel and cleaner dispenser.”

“Love this place to get all three of my cleaned, but on this Sunday 5/18, the young guy seemed to be preoccupied with something else, so he didn't come out to spray me or my wife down before the wash... Not asking for much, but this is what we pay for monthly so if you can fix this short coming in the full service line that would be great!!!”
“They have great prices! Staff is friendly and helpful. I wish they had extended hours as they close at 10pm and sometimes I’m forced to go elsewhere but if I can make it, I’ll go here 1st before any other convenient store around”

“I appreciate their prices and love the soap scent they use. It's fresh yet not overpowering. They replaced their old dryers with new ones and they move across your car so you're not having to inch your car up every few seconds when you wanted to dry every inch of your car, so that's a plus! Downfall, the dryer doesnt go very long and I definitely had a lot of water on my car when I left. I paid the top dollar wash too, so I thought it would extend my dry time too. Overall, it's a clean car wash, affordable, and conveniently located in the middle of town so it's always easy to get to. They should add some more colorful lights (just to make it more enjoyable for the kids...and maybe some adults) but they had some colors at least. They have both manual or automatic car wash options, along with a section to clean the inside of you car out, and vacuums.”

“Thankful we still have a laser wash in Altoona. Prices are cheap and you don't have to worry about swirls in your paint like you can with the tunnel car wash systems. It's also great that they have 4 bays running at the same time. I do wish they had more vacuums though and that they were included with the wash.”

Now, I must wait exactly 48 hours before your computer resets, to allow me to come again.

“The wash was fast and easy, I think a bit too fast, the attendant didn’t have time to finish spraying the right side of my windshield then I was sent into the wash.
Also watch out on the right side after the wash! The drive way is very curved…. It was my first time here and I ended up driving on the right curb…”
“This is the best jankie car wash in the city. We have been using the old drive in automatic car wash bay for over 20 years, it also dries your car well and inside the bay. Highly recommend, especially for $10 for a full wash, wax, and dry!”

“Had an amazing experience with the owners today who actually washed my car for me since I got a panic attack they were amazing and my car looked nice and shiny since I have moved into the area I have always washed my car at this car wash but day I was not feeling well and the owners were there to help me. They also gave me some car smells that you hang in your car for free they took care of me amazing people and a wonderful car wash it's the only one in Ankeny that actually washes the car and it's not expensive. Shout out to Gail for her help you have no idea how much this meant to me. Thank you and your husband from the bottom of my heart!! I will recommend your business to everyone!!”

“Great crew here, and I always see lots of smiles and staff getting along well. A smile on the front end goes a long way to ensuring a good experience. I had an experience here that justifies monthly unlimited washes I thought I would share since I was resistant to the idea myself.
I left one of my rear rugs here, probably right under the clip. I didn't notice it for a couple of days, then used a different location for a few visits, so by the time I got back, it was over a week. Then I forgot about it (I vacuum first), so by the time I get back and ask, it's been 2 weeks, and I have NO expectation of success.
She asks what it looks like. I say like this, only left-handed, showing her the remaining matt. Again, with a smile, she takes it and says, "Let's see," and disappears into the building. When she returned with my lonely, solitary matt, I wasn't even that bummed. She handed it back and said someone was still checking, then returned to attending other customers........
a moment passes
...lo and behold the door opens, music in the background. In slow motion, I see another employee step towards me, and the triumphant music gets louder. Now, in super-slowmo, slightly different angle, she smiles as the floor matt in her hand is revealed!! YES!!! Fireworks go off overhead! Balloons rise up into the perfect blue sky! Five F16 fighters jets fly overhead, one peeling off, then returning to formation representing the floor matt returning to the car. A spontaneous ovation erupts from the parking lot! A puppy licks a baby as confetti falls all around.
Still smiling, she confirmed it was mine. I thanked her, and she turned around and returned to work, disappearing back into the building like nothing happened.
I feel like that by itself paid for a couple of months.”
“Love the Laser wash. Regular washes have large string of fabric with soap rubbing the dirt and grime out of your vehicle but, what ever dirt may get embedded in the fabric just may drag across your car next.
I have scratches on several vehicles to prove it”
“This evening, I stopped by Mr. Car Wash to get a quick wash before the weekend. Makayla come out and talk to me at the vacuum station. I didn’t have a spot that I could get into, and she was super sweet about directing me where to go, as well as asking if I needed any help. She had an absolutely lovely demeanor, and great customer service. She also was inside of the car wash directing people where to go to get on the track to go through the line by the time I was done. I have been to multiple locations, Urbandale, West Des Moines, Waukee, as well as Ingersoll, and by far she is the nicest employee that I have encountered at this business. :):):)”
