“This place needs a lesson on how to properly clean and sanatize rooms. Also the management doesn't understand nor care about customer service. We were charged almost $300 for a plain double bed room during the state fair. I wouldn't mind paying that price if the room was clean and comfortable, which it was not. It was absolutely filthy and disgusting and obviously was not cleaned prior to our check in. Wet dirty towels all over the bathroom... Musty mildew smell in the bathroom due to being dirty and the exhaust fan not working... Food crumbs all over the bed and floor around the bed... Burned out lightbulbs and missing lightbulbs... A/C not working properly during 100 plus degree weather... The room phone didn't work as there was no phone cord, making it unsafe in the event of an emergency... Layers of dust and dirt and filth all over the top and behind the dressers and TV stand... Food that wasn't ours that was still in the refrigerator that had a strong garlic and rotten cheese odor that lingered in the room... We told the front desk lady and she said they had been having problems with their housekeeping and she apologized they didn't have any more rooms. We called around and couldn't find anyone else with vacancy due to the state fair. So we ended up bringing pillows and blankets from our car and laid trash bags on the bed just so we could get some sleep as it was 2am and we had to be up by 7am. We didn't even get to take showers as the bathroom was filthy and the hot water wasn't working. The lady at the front desk again apologized and said they would give us a full refund. But they never did. I called several times and spoke to the manager and they refused to do anything. Not happy at all!!!Rooms: Filthy and disgusting!!Safety: Was not cleaned nor sanitized before our check in which is unsafe considering that is the law to protect people from COVID-19!!Noteworthy details: This place sucks stay far away!!”
