“I needed batteries for all of my watches save one. Yes, I’m one of “those” people! I discovered that this jeweler was an easy driving distance away; it was in the same city I had a medical appointment for this afternoon. Mr. Saboe (I’m assuming that’s the name of the gentleman who assisted me) was friendly and was able to change the batteries for 4 of my watches right away. (And it was a good price when I paid.) while I waited I enjoyed looking at all of the eye candy there, in the form of watches, jewelry, clocks and a good amount of gift items. My eyes went almost immediately to the store’s safe, which was exhibited at one of the World’s Fairs! When you see the photos of it, I think you’ll be almost as impressed as I was, except it’s much more impressive when you see it in person. Mr. Saboe also had some old pocket watches from his own collection. You could see that he cherished each one; they’re probably in great condition. Enough blabber, take a look at these photos!”
