2603 Correctionville Rd, Sioux CityI took my 5 Shih-Poos to Karen after my other groomer kept canceling on me and wouldnt return a phone call (Critter Clippers). She is wonderful with my "kids". I like her process much better. My dogs were not as traumatized as with the other groomer. I was also very pleased with her prices. I know where they are going from now on. I wish I would have found her much sooner.

Dr. Matt Samuelson and vet tech Cristal were incredibly patient and gentle with him, especially since he gets very nervous at the vet. They didn’t just rush through the appointment — they took the time to address other issues he’s been dealing with and gave me really helpful, practical advice. I also appreciated that they offered multiple options in case the initial solutions didn’t work and encouraged me to come back if Sosa needed more support. It truly felt like my dog was in caring, capable hands. On top of that, the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, and the prices felt very reasonable. I’m really thankful for the care and attention we received and would definitely recommend them.

4302 Stone Park Blvd, Sioux CityCannot recommend enough. I took my dog when she was ~4 months; she was extremely timid and scared of anyone who was not me, including new dogs. The first hour she was there, she huddled in the corner away from all the small dogs. The staff saw that she wasn’t handling daycare well and pretty much restructured the whole play group around her needs to help her become more comfortable. It was the nicest thing, something they didn’t have to do. Gradually she gained more confidence and LOVED getting to go to daycare! She was well taken care of with boarding as well. We love this place!

Bay Kennels
3137 Talbot Rd, Sioux CityI have not used Bay Kennels for boarding, but I did buy my golden retriever here and he is now 13 1/2. He is the BEST dog I have ever known and he is a big part of our family. He has a great personality and is intelligent, strong, and doing so well even at an older age. At times in the past, BK has not had golden retriever puppies (and he has a little brother from another breeder), but when I'm ready to add another puppy, I'm definitely going here.

2121 Riverside Blvd, Sioux CityWe came into town for the 4th of July weekend and our normal boarding in our hometown was full. We were in a pinch and every other boarding in Sioux City required at least a day visit before booking overnight boarding for new dogs. Pet Stop was accommodating and let us board our two pups even though they were new to them. She even left her friend at the bar after work to open up for us as we were late into town! Our dogs were taken care of and had no issues throughout the weekend. We would definitely send our dogs back next time.

It's cooked in a pizza oven and they had it a little bit crispy on the outside and moist in the inside. Clean restaurant with friendly service. Had an IPA flight and all of them were very good beers!

You use to be able to bring your four legged friend in but someone put a stop to that which is unfortunate. I usually don't ho late at night because the few times I have that place is packed with all different kinds of people. I enjoy a quieter crowd so early afternoon it is! Work and Church, love the name and the atmosphere ROCKS!! Sometimes I think I'm in church lol

We were 6 days into a multi-generational family trip, and travelling with an infant. He patiently navigated multiple special requests and kept all 7 of us comfortable and fed. I'm rarely impressed with a hotel restaurant but convienence won out tonight and I'm glad it did! I didn't hear any complaints on food or drink from our group, a first for this trip! Thanks!

Siouxland Humane Society
1015 Tri View Ave, Sioux CityI’ve adopted three cats from the Siouxland Humane Society, and let me tell you—they’re basically tiny fur therapists who run the house. All three are happy, healthy, and perfectly well-adjusted (mostly… except when they knock stuff off the counters). When vet bills popped up, the staff helped me out, which as a low-income, single mom, basically made me feel like a superhero with a sidekick team of furballs. Even broke people deserve pets, and this place makes it happen—10/10 would adopt and be judged by cats again. ?
