Cee Cee's 605 Scratch Kitchen & Bar
1 E Main St, VermillionCame here in a whim with a coworker, we were in town for a class. At first we were pretty disappointed by staff. A lady at the bar acknowledged us along with another group and said she’d be right back, never came back. While we waited, I noticed there were maybe two servers working at the time and appeared busy.
After a few minutes we were seated and the other of the two servers got our drink orders, nothing fancy a coke and a water. We got those pretty quick and we met a third server, don’t remember his name but he looked like a blonde version of Seth Green. He recommended the Ramen and explained the spice levels and gave his recommendation for that too.
It did take a long time to get our food but I am blaming that on the USD football team. I’m guessing they had some kind of party going on there because we watched them all walk in. I get it big party = a lot of food, won’t complain.
The ramen was delicious, definitely not the dried ramen packet kind. Coworker said the spaghetti was average but I thought the sauce was good, the baguettes were great.
On a side note, when we got there it didn’t appear very busy but as the night rolled on it got busier and more servers appeared out of nowhere. From what I could see, they were all being attentive to their guests.
Oh and the “yatcee” game is a good way to pass the time…
If I ever make it back to vermillion, I would definitely come back to try something else
