“Truly don’t think I could say better things about this place. The staff are all so welcoming and nice. My dog is so happy here and I don’t plan to go anywhere else.”
“The entire staff, everyone, welcomes my pups and myself w a wonderful greeting and smiles. Everyone at the Pet Medical Center takes time to comfort the pups w petting and “chats.”
Doctor Sara is thorough and takes extra caring time to answer all questions. The staff has a calming knack for the family pets.
Impressive is they recognize and recommend impending preventative care issues, w/o pressure. Their prices are convenient and affordable.
I always exit smiling and knowing my pups, Charlie and Sheen, had the best experience and professional care.
Thanks PMC ?.”

“Dr. Comito is a wonderful vet and incredible human being. I trust all of my cats to his care for last 25 years. He is very professional, caring, kind, always find time for an appointment. On several occasions he was able to come to the office after hours and on his days off to help my cats during emergency situations. I highly recommend Dr. Comito.”
“Leann and Kim are THE BEST. I have been going to them for almost 20 years. They have always gone above and beyond for me and my pets. I can honestly say they are friends more than our vets. When we lived out of state they would answer any of my questions and we even ended up driving back to have them take care of our pets.”
“We have taken our dog Lucy to this clinic for 7 years. They give great service, and usually can get you in for an appt very quickly. Lucy goes to Dr. Katie, who is very good with her. Dr. Katie does not push off medications and things that aren't needed. We trust Dr. Katie, the whole staff with doing the best they can for Lucy!”
“Love this office. Dr. Katie took such great care of my girl. When she reached the end of her life, she was so kind and sweet to both my Lilly and to my daughter and I.
100% recommend.”
“We receive excellent boarding and veterinary care every time we visit. They are kind, considerate, competent and treat our dog with love and affection. Thanks for all you do for her!!”
“I can’t say enough about Dr. Brandon Weyhing. He diagnosed our beloved kitty with a terminal condition and was so patient, kind and compassionate through the process of helping her cross the rainbow bridge. He explained everything so we would know what to expect, as this was the first time our family had gone through this. He is patient and gentle and it is obvious how much he truly cares about his patients and their families.”
““ALL THINGS MOPAR”-been struggling to out my life back together after injury, yet again. Praying for answers of course. Today not only did I find a veterinarian/vet for my dog Ernie, but God also sent an angel in a black truck Dodge 2500 HD “blackout version“. She looked at me and smiled, and it touched my heart ❤️ reminds me that “ all things in God‘s time“ I believe God puts people in front of you for a reason, whether we choose to see it or not. I see it as a beacon. I am yet indeed in the right place at the right time to meet such an angel.. MARK BLOCK, wounded warrior, soldier of Saint Michael thank you Lord! (JOHN 3:16)
Yes i’m a bit emotional because we buried two of our own ING soldiers last week; the ones killed in Syria. I was the same age when I was killed, crushed under a vehicle on the side of the road but by the Grace of God. and his general Saint Michael watched over me and ultimately sent me back. Under the condition complete the mission to share their grace with others each and every day. Wasn’t sure where I was going today, but look where I ended up?! And the reward I was given. ? ? ?? ? ?l ? if she/they/that can handle three dogs at once they can sure help me get Ernie inside as last time I try to fell over my shoulder”
“I have been bringing my horses here for expert care when needed for over a decade, they provide specialized and emergency veterinary care when a smaller practice cannot do so. I love that it is a veterinary college as well so bringing my horses here provides learning opportunities for future veterinarians. I have always experienced compassionate and caring staff at every visit.”

“Our first visit. Staff were friendly and helpful. The vet was very caring, explained tests, attended to Lilly in exam room (rather than remove her to back area, away from me—as other vets have done), and Lilly and I both felt comfortable with her. Happy we made this change in Lilly’s care.”

“I love the Vets that work at Iowa Equine! I appreciate their knowledge and their great care they give my three horses! My horses are an extension of me and they deserve the best care! They receive that at Iowa Equine. They are knowledgeable, answer my questions and concerns and are always personable. They have a tough job and often go unappreciated but I can say from the bottom of my heart I am thankful for the care they provide and highly recommend them!!”

“I took Pepper to Iowa State University Animal Hospital since it was the closest place to Nebraska with family living nearby, rather than driving all the way to Kansas City. When we arrived, they immediately took her back to put her on supplemental oxygen while I completed paperwork. Within about eight minutes, we were taken to our room to discuss options and pricing.
We decided to do an echocardiogram, which cost around $500, since she needed sedation for the exam. At that time, Pepper was doing well and responding to her medications. However, the next day, she suddenly stopped responding to the meds.
The doctors presented three options:
1. Attempt to shock her heart back into a healthy rhythm, even though this involves temporarily stopping the heart.
2. Put her on a ventilator if she stopped breathing, which would have cost around $10–15k.
3. Wait to see if additional medications would work.
After exhausting all medications, I chose to try shocking her heart back into rhythm. The staff were very upfront about the risks, explaining there was a chance she might not come back. They administered general anesthesia so she wouldn’t feel it. Despite four rounds of CPR, there was nothing more they could do.
The staff created a clay paw print as a keepsake for us. While I wish my little baby was still here, it comforts me to know she can breathe and play freely without struggling in heaven. I deeply appreciate everything the ISU staff did for Pepper—the care, love, and attention they gave her.
Pepper had congestive heart failure at just three months old, so her chances of living a long life were unfortunately low. Even so, I don’t regret trying every option. Though it was costly—about $2,500—it was worth every penny to give her the best care possible. Thank you to the ISU team for trying so hard for my baby”
“This place is Excellent for you and your pet to go . Dr. Meredith is great with my dog Pipsy even though Pipsy is a bit of a handful. Also the staff is very caring and supportive. I wouldn’t go anywhere else .”
