I hold very elaborate events and have personally used the services of this location for years I’ll be moving to California this June. However, I wanted to personally leave a proper review.
I have gotten to know the owners and staff for a number of years now. Every order has been precise and exactly as promised every recommendation has been aligned to our needs with thoughtful consideration.
We couldn’t recommend a better place. In the north liberty area!

“Bootleggin’ is the best liquor store in the area by far. They have one of the biggest selections of liquor, beer, local craft, and tobacco. If somehow they don’t have it, there is a good chance they will find a way to get it. They are a local business that really cares about their customers and are very knowledgeable with everything they sell. Their prices are very competitive, even in the higher end selection they have behind the counter. #1 stop before any tailgate or family gathering.”

He recommended a few fine selections, I gave my $ range and a regular I get, let him assist someone else and found an old favorite. It was a very reasonable price, I normally shop Hy-Vee so maybe that's my problem lol. I had a great experience regardless! Don't let the haters keep you from at least going in.”

“We had the best experience tonight. Steve was a wonderful man. We walked in looking for cigars and he was not only extremely knowledgeable but super helpful without being pushy or intrusive. He answered all of our newbie questions, took time to explain their system and the different kinds and types or cigars, sharing his huge amount of knowledge for being a non smoker. Once he gave us all the information he could he left us to browse. Extremely helpful, super kind, very funny as well, had us laughing not even 2 minutes into our visit. A very pleasant person to be around. Their selection and organization was awesome, we felt comfortable and like we belong, very welcomed. We will 100% be going back and hopefully Steve will be there when we do. Give this man a raise or a bonus or something. It's not often you find a genuine soul like him.”

“I was was talking with friends about the great experience I had at crown liquor and like myself my friends said the same thing "we won't go anywhere else". Any time you go in there it is cleanly, organized and most of all have the best customer service!! The gentlemen who works most evenings is amazing!! Such a good guy.
