At first I was pretty unhappy with my experience at Ramsey Subaru. I bought a certified pre owned vehicle after losing my other car to a hail storm. A few days after purchasing the car, I was notified that the car couldn't be certified, because it had been in an accident. Around this time, my salesman left Ramsey, and the information on how they would make things right weren't relayed to me. Fast forward a year and I was having issues with a leaky oil pan. No biggie, until they did a 12 point inspection and found that the car needed some maintenance. I was so upset that my certified wait not certified preowned now needed work that should have been done before I even drove off the lot. Thankfully Anna and her smiling face pointed me to Dan who could help me out. Although overwhelmed with everything on his plate, Dan helped me understand the information that slipped through the cracks at the time of my salesman's departure and made things right with the maintenance. I'm not a huge fan of the operations, but thankfully there are some good people who want to make things right. Thank you Anna and Dan!

Our car salesman Tim Beatty. He has great customer service. He was very friendly and he was not pushy. He gave us time to make our own decisions and did not pressure us while we were looking. He just gave us all of our options to consider but did follow up. Car was cleaned up to our standards and ready to go upon our arrival. The sales manager was a great guy as well and made the numbers work for us. We had a great experience because our salesman was very knowledgeable in car sales. We will be back the next time we are looking!

It's been a little under a month since purchasing my 2024 Crosstrek. It was very easy to work with Ramsey Subaru. After doing some research and contacting a few other dealers, Ramsey was one of the closest options to me. After putting in my information on their website, they followed up shortly after. They worked with me on the price and I got a price I was very happy with. They did not hassle/pressure me by bombarding me with calls/emails/texts and actually took note of my contact preferences. I worked with Justice and he was awesome. He even replied to my questions on his day off which was fantastic. The purchase process was simple and I was able to set most of it up before I even arrived to the dealership. There was no pressure from the business manager to buy an extended warranty or any extras. After driving off the lot, I noticed one small thing but Justice was sure to make it right for me. I also super appreciate that they only sent one email asking for a review, now it seems like businesses will ask a million times for a review. A small added touch is that they sent a very lovely care package as a thank you a few weeks after the purchase. I would highly recommend Justice wherever he goes and would recommend Ramsey Subaru to anyone in IA looking.

We had the most fantastic experience purchasing our new Suburu Outback yesterday. Dwayne Hill is a wonderful salesman. My husband is not a fan of the car buying process, yet from the moment of introduction with Dwayne we knew we were making the right choice! Dwayne put us both as ease, listened to our request, steered us in the right direction, answered or found answers to all our questions and all around made the car buying process a wonderful experience. We are extremely pleased with our purchase and we look forward to doing business with Ramsey Suburu in the future.

Matt and the staff were super professional, explained the process of buying a brand new car (my first time) and were extremely helpful with the trade in process. I can not recommend them enough. Thank you again for such a great day and my brand new Subaru!

Just all around awful experience!! Good thing I am a decent mechanic. However if you buy used look over your purchase very well or take a mechanic friend to help look over your purchase. Or take your purchase to a shop of your choosing to do a pre-purchase inspection. Do not take this place word for it! They cut corners to squeeze every penny out of their used lot. I bought a car with all rotors out of round. Who ever resurfaced the rears on my car should of replaced them instead! And They didn’t even replace the front ones! Which were so out of round the steering wheel shuttered on the interstate the day of purchase.

The best customer/car dealer purchasing experience I've ever had!All the staff at Ramsey Subaru are just the most kind, polite, honest and attentive people in the business.I'd love to mention in particular the excellent job of Matt and Travis who made my new car purchase experience a dream (while many other times, in other places has been a nightmare)!This is gonna be my one and only car dealer from now on!Thumbs up!

We were in a situation where we had to purchase a car because our car was no longer working. Oscar Hernandez was so helpful in explaining our options and showing us cars that met our criteria. He was easy to work with and not pushy. It made a stressful situation, much better. We would recommend Ramsey Subaru if you need a good car and don’t want to deal with sleazy car salesmen.

It was my first time buying a car and I couldn't have had a better experience. Definitely ask for Oscar Hernandez! I told him I had a budget and he made sure I stayed in that budget. I truly felt like he cared and listened to any concerns or questions I had. He was not pushy at all and you can tell he's not just there to sell cars, he truly wants the best for his clients. I strongly do not recommend purchasing any warranties nor having Subaru service your vehicle. Post sale experience is nothing short of careless. I went in for an oil change and after 1.5hrs they comeback to tell me that they rotated my tires. I also purchased the perma-fiber warranty which covers small damage and stains to the seat fabric. When I needed to call upon the warranty, I had to physically walk in because otherwise representatives either had no idea what I was talking about or would not return callback requests. Once I was inside they refused to honor the warranty claiming "grey area" regarding the coverage. When I came back with the contract I signed, I spoke with a different representative because the original was not available. The second representative said they had never seen that warranty before but he will schedule me for the detail needed. He confirmed I would not be billed for anything after the fact. The service team did not do a complete job, ripped the leather on the center console, as well as scratched the plastic around the transmission control. The cherry on top? I got billed for it. Now they once again are not returning my request for call back to discuss the bill because the representatives I worked with are conveniently not available. Never imagined that it would be this difficult to work with Subaru otherwise I would have never done business with them.

The process was super easy, quick, and simple to buy a used car, a Subaru Outback which I’ve been wanting for awhile. Thanks so much to Oscar Hernandez for selling me this car and for being so kind and helpful. He speaks English and Spanish and it was so fun to practice my Spanish skills with him throughout the whole process. I recently worked with Brandon Schwade at Ramsey Subaru to purchase my new 2024 Legacy, which I factory ordered in March 2023 (I took delivery in May 2023). I will say that--hands down--it’s the best car buying experience I’ve ever had, and I highly recommend working with Brandon to buy your new Subaru.As a woman who’s purchased three vehicles from Des Moines car dealerships over the years, I wasn’t exactly excited to walk into yet another dealership and have to fight tooth-and-nail with (from previous experience) what would likely be an ultra-condescending man who thought I don’t have enough money to buy a vehicle or that I don’t know anything about the car that I want. If you’re a lady who has ever purchased a vehicle via a dealership, you know how it is.Anyway, that wasn’t my experience at all, thank goodness! Brandon was friendly, personable, respectful (key word!), and transparent throughout the ordering/buying process. There was no pressure, slimy sales tactics/lying, and absolutely no questions asked when I told him to leave any pricey dealer add-ons (Ex. Nitrogen in tires, Lojack, etc.) off the vehicle. Not to mention, he personally worked with the internal detail shop to ensure that, before I took delivery of my car, my specific (and lengthy) instructions for what I wanted done and not done to it were honored. (I should mention, I did not negotiate the price of the vehicle with Brandon, as a Subaru VIP.)My experience in the finance office was overall very positive as well. The only downside was I wasn’t able to buy a protection product I wanted because the coverage contract provided for me to sign didn’t match what the Finance Manager was telling me about the coverage (a wheel and tire protection plan that includes cosmetic repair/replacement).This is my first Subaru, but I definitely plan to buy from Brandon/Ramsey Subaru in the future, if at all possible. I’d also recommend him to my friends and family.

I went in to buy a Subaru Outback wilderness. I knew what I wanted. I met with John F. He got me into one to drive, and we talked numbers. He came back first time with a great deal. The sale went together on my timeline and I was able to get the vehicle earlier than expected. It really was a great experience. John was attentive, laid back, but answered any and all questions I had. I’d do it over again in the future for sure. I look forward to the future with my new outback.
