These guys always go the extra mile. Today (Xmas eve) I showed up to drop off my lawn tractor right at closing time (I should have called ahead to confirm when closing) and they graciously re-opened the gates and took my info and the tractor. I’ll keep coming back for sales and service.

I was prepared to pay dealer shop prices for repairs to my Honda mower, these guys were thorough, quick and fair priced! After the repairs my mower runs just as nice and smooth as on the 1st day I started it up.😊

I have bought two John Deere Lawn Tractors from Jim in Sales at Van Wall John Deere in Urbandale, Jim is very Friendly and Knowledgeable and helpful with all the John Deere Products for sale there at Van Wall Equipment. I have a twenty year old John Deere LT160 lawn tractor that I bought from Van Wall in Urbandale, I just had it repaired and serviced at Van Wall in Urbandale and it runs like a new John Deere Lawn Mower. In twenty Years I have spent about $1000 on Maintenance and Repairs on that Mower that is about $50 a year which is a Testament to the Quality and Reliability of John Deere Lawn Tractors (Rated Highest at Consumer Reports) Bryan and Chas and their Team in the Service Dept. do Excellent Work. If You want a Quality Product backed up by Excellent Service, I Highly Recommend Van Wall John Deere in Urbandale !

Stopped in to get a small part.
I was the only person there so started to ask other questions about my tractor and potentially getting some attachments.
The sales guy (Mike) was pretty dismissive and made me wish I went somewhere else. I cannot understand why he was so ugly to me. I was a very potential customer but he could care less.
I left empty handed and will take my JDeere business elsewhere… I can buy online or drive a little further. Customer service should be important to them. But I guess they just don’t care.
Sad.

Really hit or miss with this place. Have purchased numerous pieces of equipment over the years. Came in today for a new battery knowing what model I needed. Parts guy takes 5-10 minutes to “figure it out” and tells me they have none and I should just take the cheaper less heavy duty one he offered. Guy next to him corrects him in 5 sec on his computer and tells him there is 4 of the model I came in for in the back. Have had ok experiences and a few really bad experiences at this location in particular. Make the drive to Ankeny or Perry for a more reliable and consistent experience

I’ve been a customer for 30 years. The service department and sales department bent over backwards to help me with warranty repairs to my snowblower this year. You aren’t going to get that level of service buying items from box stores. Thank-you to Chaz in the service department!

Just recently had my lawn tractor's annual service completed by Van Wall in Urbandale. I truly appreciate the exceptional through service that is consistently completed on my equipment. I used Van Wall to service my snowblower. I took advantage of their pickup and delivery service. The people I dealt with were very friendly. Service time and price were good. While I haven’t actually needed to use my snowblower yet, I was happy with my experience.
