Crossroads Mall is a shopping mall in Waterloo that many remember fondly for its wonderful Sears, movie theatre, personality, and style. It was once a place full of stores where people could spend the day. Currently, however, the mall is described as empty, dead, and almost completely closed, with many stores shut due to high rents. It feels depressing and abandoned, similar to other declining malls. A few remaining spots include a yummy pizza place and a Chinese restaurant, which are considered worth visiting. The space is now so quiet it has been suggested as a good place to walk indoors or even to film a zombie movie.
