“Petersen & Tietz is practically an institution in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area. It is a very well-run, locally owned florist and greenhouse operation with friendly, knowledgeable staff and one of the best selections of plants in the area. The owner, Heidi, gives a GREAT presentation each spring about some of the plants in their inventory that year. (Sad to say I missed her presentation this year due to a schedule conflict.) I have a hosta garden in my front yard, and I am always impressed by how many hosta varieties they have. I was looking specifically for perennials on my most recent visit, but I noticed that they also have a wide selection of house plants. I'll have to keep that in mind for a future visit.”
