“I'm in the room (Room 123) as I write the review. The room is clean, modern, and DOESN'T smell of carpet fresheners or sprays many hotels use to cover up smells. Staff is very nice and professional.”

“Stayed there for a night when we were in town. The property was very nice and clean. Room was very clean and comfortable. Out of all of the motels we stayed at, this place had the best breakfast by far. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was also a very secure location. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Great job! You can tell that the staff care about the place by how well it is maintained.”

I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn Waterloo over the weekend! From the moment we arrived the experience exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly welcoming and truly excited to make our stay great and it showed Breakfast deserves a special mention. Even though the hotel was crazy busy with a hockey team in town everything ran smoothly. The food was hot fresh and well stocked despite the rush. Jonika was especially sweet and helpful she made our mornings start on such a positive note. Joey was also working nonstop running around like crazy to keep up with demand yet still stayed upbeat and on top of everything. We really want to give a huge shout out to the amazing staff for their hard work and outstanding service. Because of them our stay was memorable and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!”
“Great building, quiet spacious rooms. Nice location. Needs to improve with housekeeping. Little details mean a lot, like a clean soap dish, a clean floors, and a clean shower really say a lot about the caliber of the housekeeping attention to detail.”

“We have been traveling across the U. S. and I must say this Comfort Inn on Waterloo has been the most comfortable and the cleanest motel we have stayed in. The staff is friendly and helpful. The bed is a dream, it was so comfortable. We will be here for four nights and will be sorry to leave.”
“I am giving Howard Johnson by Wyndham Waterloo/Cedar Falls a Five-Star review because of the excellent customer service. I accidentally left my dental retainer, and called late at night to see if it was still there. The staff were responsive and it was. They mailed it, but due to a glitch in the United States Post Office tracking, it kept getting sent back and forth between states. I am happy to report that I finally received my retainer, and give well deserved high praise to Tracy from the hotel who graciously helped correct the issue. Tracy was very responsive and sympathetic to my situation. While other hotels could have thrown out the retainer during cleaning, they didn't and showed great patience through shipping challenges (that were clearly USPS's fault).”

“Yes, the hotel is dated, could use a few touch ups.
But the price is great.
Beds seem to be fairly new and very comfortable, pillows are awesome. Hot tub is a bit small in room 415.
Kelly at the front dest is the best.
Lobby coffee is not to bad.
Breakfast kinda sucks.”

“I'm a solo, female traveler (with a dog). Read the reviews before booking and 100% accurate! Clean, safe, quiet and everyone was SO nice! It's great to see a hotel live up to its reputation nowadays. This will be my go-to hotel when I'm back in the area. So nice to not have to stay in a crappy place just bc I'm traveling with a dog. Well done!”
