“I had trouble booking a room on third party vendors and called the hotel directly. Not only was I able to book my stay but it was more affordable than the third party vendors plus I was rerouted by AI and talked with a real live person! The room was just as pictured on line, exceptionally clean and plenty of space. The staff were every friendly and the breakfast was very good with quite a few options.”

“This is my favorite hotel for short-term and long-term visits in the Cedar Falls/Waterloo area. Stayed in 2023 and 2024.CleanQuietAffordable~ Prices are competitive and cheaper than other hotels. For long term guests, they have discounts for weekly and monthly stays. I've stayed in other hotels and JLL's rates are the best in town.~ Ideally situated close to UNI. The hotel is located on University Ave, so you're next to all the businesses, restaurants, and shopping options. 7-minute drive to the options on Viking Road/Ave of the Saints area and about 15-minute drive to the shopping hub on San Marnan Drive and La Porte Road.~ The exterior is older, but many of the interior rooms (including the one I stayed in) have been recently remodeled. They also have spacious studios available for rent with extra closet space and a kitchenette.~ They have an exercise room, but I didn't really use it because the equipment is older, and that room is noticeably colder than the rest of the hotel. I did enjoy walking the hallways of the hotel when I wanted to walk outside but couldn't because of snow or bad weather. You can't tell from the outside, but the hotel is spacious, multi-leveled, with multiple wings.~ I also didn't utilize the many streaming apps they had on the TV, but it's nice that they have them available.~ As a non-smoker, I really appreciated that they kept smoking and non-smoking guests in separate wings of the hotel and enforced the non-smoking rule in the non-smoking section. Too many times to count, I've requested a non-smoking room in various hotels and had to change rooms because there was the strong odor of weed or cigarette smoke from the previous guests.~ All staff (management, front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping) are friendly, helpful, and accommodating.Walkability: easy walking distance to businesses, restaurants, and shoppingFood & drinks: close to businesses, restaurants, and shopping”

“The whole staff was great, I just wanted to give an extra thank you to Jessica. Our company van broke down and was very understanding when it came time for us to check out. We weren’t forced out the door like most places we were given time to resolve our issues and show som humanity. Thank you so much!”

“Comfortable and very clean. A great, professional place to stay. Close enough to spots in Cedar Falls.
Free fresh coffee and water in the lobby,and self serve snacks, although I think that breakfast needed more selections and variety for the $15 extra charge.
The concierge gave us a great recommendation for Patton Diner in CF.
I would definitely stay here again. Everything was great.”
