Here it is 11:47 at night I have a sick 6 year old….knowing the pharmacy is closed I called the store for help to see if they had a few items I looked up to try to help my 6 year old be comfortable! I didn’t wanna to burden anyone with a phone call that would annoy them but I needed some assistance! So I call and got a young man that answered and let me say that he was more than willing to help and offered to place the items at the counter so I didn’t have to worry about coming and searching for them!!! He was so nice and so understanding! Brett was his name he was definitely my hero tonight!!! Awesome customer service! He was willing to go above and beyond without any questions asked!!! Thank you Brett at Walgreens on Ridgeway in Waterloo, Iowa!!!

I've been going to this pharmacy for over 25 years. I've had trouble here and there but nothing like today. My husbands hand got this weird thing going on to the point where his doctors are saying he might need to amputate them. They put in 6 Rx all to help him keep his fingers/hands and he only came home with 4 yesterday. When I asked where his pain med was and the other he said that's all they said they had. So I called his doctor and asked if they could send them in and they said they did. So the doc called there and called me back and said wow that pharmacist is really mean just stay clear of her and I guess they just decided not to fill them. What! So I called up there and pharmacist Brianna answered with WHAT? Nice right. So I say listen please stop your attitude cuz I'll be coming to get my husbands Rxs you failed to fill and I don't want to treat you any type of way because of your attitude. She says are you threatening me! I say no... I'm not I have questions about why they weren't filled...she than says if you come here I'll call the police and hung up on me. So about an hr later I walk into there and the pharmacy assistant was super nice, idk her name but she was real nice zero complaints with her. Excellent service from her.and she asked if I wanted a consultation. YUP. I did. So I wait and a woman comes up and I ask if she is Brianna. She says yes and I ask her why his Rx weren't filled and why she had such an attitude with me on the phone. She of course now politely pushes the Rx towards me and says you can leave now. Nope. I have had so much stress that she made me break and I screamed how incompetent she was and that corporate was called and an investigation was happening and if she was the reason my husband lost his hands I would sue her and Walgreens. I'm done with the incompetent people they put in charge of handling our meds who think they can decide which med should or shouldn't be filled and given to patients. I hope she is fired. Walgreens do better! And I'll be expecting that call.

Horrible customer service in pharmacy Messing up prescriptions all of the time. Not sending into insurance and saying it was delayed. Which in fact it is covered under insurance . This store is getting worse each day!

Lost a prescription. Refused to call the doctor to get it again. Told me I had to call the doctor again. Refused to transfer it to another Walgreens nearer me. The main company's software and voicemail is awful too and wouldn't send me text messages even after I had asked for them.

Shift Lead Brittney that was working the night shift on 11/7 was very rude to a gentleman that couldn’t speak English well. The gentleman was nothing but polite to her while she raised her voice and had an attitude from the get. She had zero patience and had no interest in hearing him out. Meanwhile customers overhearing the conversation were uncomfortable and surprised about how poorly she was treating him.

Unreliable pharmacy. Go to Brad's Corner Drug in CF if you need a script filled!This store pharmacy is increibly unreliable, IF they are open during stated hours of business, (they often close the pharamcy early for no reason) they rarely have my sons script in stock. One would think that after being a customer for 2 years and getting a refill every 30 days that they would plan for the refill w inventory management systems. After two weeks of unsuccessful attempts to fill, we pulled all our scripts and went to a fantastic, locally owned pharmacy, Brad's Corner Drug!

I was in this evening with my son to make a return. The return was for a cosmetic product that I used once and had a reaction to. I explained to the associate my situation and got zero empathy and it seemed like I was a bother for even being there at all. I offered to grab the box off the shelf so she had the sku to find the item in my purchase history. As I used rewards on the item and knew it should pull up when inputting my phone number. I grabbed the wrong one (my mistake) but quickly went back to get the correct box for her. She did not thank me for any of my help, but instead told me this is why she should have just got it. Like my help basically made for more of an inconvenience? She was rude, made judgements and accusations claiming I hadn’t purchased my item and refused to walk away when I asked to speak to her manager. The manager, who was hearing all of this, finally came over and was also extremely rude and passive aggressive. She did not dismiss the employee, even at my request due to how uncomfortable she made me. No empathy, no apology and was told to take my concerns to customer service, so I did as both employees were unproductive to speak to and clearly trying to escalate vs. deescalate the situation. I spoke with a very apologetic representative who found my transaction history in 30 seconds and informed me the staff was untruthful to me about finding the necessary history they needed to complete my return! I am mortified to know and have experienced first hand how the associates at this store treat the customer. Hopefully they see the opportunities they have and will improve how they treat and interact with customers in the future. Unfortunately, I will not be back.

Waiting time at the drive-thru is horrendous. Only one lane is ever open, when there's capacity for 2. Must not have enough employees. I switched pharmacies because of this, but my daughter still has an account here so I had to pick something up for her.

I walk in and ask Lainey where something is and she immediately looks annoyed and says “what’s that, I don’t know..” then when I walk away she taking under her breath. Another associate helps me find what I need and was very pleasant. When I get to the checkout she looks at me and shakes her head and says “you don’t need to be rude” I immediately ask for a manager who was very polite. Lainey has zero customer service skills! I won’t be back.

Pharmacy is SLOW. It is nice to use a drive up and not have to get out of the car, but not worth it when you have to wait so long in line. Even if there is only one person in front of you, it seems to take a ridiculous amount of time

I never write reviews but for this experience I have to. Never again will I be coming back to this Walgreens I am 9 months pregnant & a store manager & the experience I had with the staff here was just terrible ! I wouldn't recommend anyone to come to this location unless you want a terrible experience dealing with the staff.
